Mighty_Zuk
Been reported before, but it does confirm some of my suspicions. Rafael and LM are now cooperating on the SPICE kit, will market it jointly: https://breakingdefense.com/2019/05/lockheed-adds-some-israeli-spice-to-kinetics-market/ Rafael needs it to integrate it to the F-35 and put it on higher priority within LM for that (many more munitions in queue). Will allow Rafael to better market its low-RCS SPICE-250 munition, which unlike the SPICE-1000/2000 was designed from the ground up as a stealthy munition and not based on existing warheads. Makes more sense to buy stealthy missiles/bombs when you have a stealthy plane, and tapping into the F-35 payload list is a strategic marketing advantage. Gives the US a gateway to a more complete solution to GPS-denied environments.

LoooSeR
Quote MINSK, May 18 / Tass /. Concern "Tekhmash" (part of Rostec) coordinates with the Russian Defense Ministry the technical parameters of the latest high-precision guided 122-mm "Monolith" missile. TASS was told about this by the deputy general director of the concern Alexander Kochkin at the MILEX 2019 arms exhibition in Minsk. "Monolith" is a guided missile, belongs to the class of precision weapons. This is an aircraft missile with caliber of 122 mm. Company develops it on its own initiative and at its own expense. At the moment, the technical requirements for it are being coordinated with the customer" Kochkin said. According to him, the carriers of the new rocket will be all the planes and helicopters that can use an unguided S-13 rocket. “It is guided, it is already a different complex. There will be a modification of the weapon's control systems for the aircraft of a particular carrier,” the source explained. Earlier, the general director of Tekhmash, Vladimir Lepin, reported that the Monolith rocket would cost no more than its predecessor, the S-13 rocket. Unguided 122-mm caliber S-13 rocket was developed in the 1970s, and later other versions with different warheads were designed.

You count %-ate based on number of components, not their weight/cost/etc. They probably are re-using some of components from other guided missiles, so cost could be low. Also, we don't know what kind of price they were counting/comparing - export or "internal" for military, as they are very different. For example small arms for military cost like ~25% less than on export or civilian market (for civilian versions), also they didn't said for which size of production run this claimed price is true. There are more things in it that are not on the surface or obvious.

Krieger22
https://saabgroup.com/media/news-press/news/2019-06/saab-not-attending-swiss-flight-tests/ Gripen E will not be present at the Swiss Air 2030 tests Quote The Swiss defence procurement agency, armasuisse, has formally recommended to Saab not to participate with Gripen E in the upcoming flight tests in Switzerland. The reason is that the flight tests have been designed to only evaluate aircraft that are operationally ready in 2019. The flight tests are part of the fighter evaluation process that foresees aircraft deliveries in 2025. Gripen E will enter into operational service years before Switzerland has scheduled deliveries and will meet all its defined capabilities. However, the Gripen E development plan does not match the Swiss plan to perform flight tests with aircraft that are operationally ready in 2019. Therefore, Saab has decided not to attend the Swiss flight tests in Payerne 24-28 June.

Alzoc
Some dimensions: 19m lenght 14m wingspan mass < 40t with all weapons loaded compared to the Rafale and it's 15m length, 11m wingspan and a max weight of 24t. With the increased weight the engine is also supposed to be more powerful than the current M88 of the Rafale (max temperature should go up from 1850 K to 2100 K, I guess that they made a mistake by saying °C in the article) Overall it kinda look like a blend of the F-22 and the YF-23. What's important to note is it's weight and overall dimensions, this will have a huge impact on the dimensioning of the future carrier (which studies started this year). LoooSeR
Quote The first images of new American aeroballistic missile ARRW On June 12, 2019, the US Air Force conducted the first aerodynamic test (without separation from plane) of hypersonic AGM-183A ARRW (Air Launched Rapid Response Weapon, also Arrow acronym is used) created by Lockheed Martin Corporation on a strategic bomber Boeing B-52H. B-52H bomber with a mass-dimensional missile model ARRW, equipped with some parts of the control system, on an external suspension made a flight from Edwards Air Force Base (California). Development of ARRW is going under a contract worth $ 480 million, issued by the United States Air Force Corporation Lockheed Martin in August 2018. Works must be completed by December 2021. Structurally, ARRW, (reportedly), is a solid-fuel ballistic missile with a warhead in the form of a detachable Tactical Boost Glide (TBG) hypersonic warhead with a rocket engine, which has been created for some time under the auspices of the DARPA agency. The characteristics of the system are unknown, although unofficially its speed to the TBG is attributed to speeds of up to 20M. Presumably, the first aerodynamic tests of the TBG combat unit were conducted in March 2019. According to some sources, the ARRW rocket is planned to be built primarily in the nuclear version. image: A Lockheed Martin AGM-183A ARRW (Air Launched Rapid Response Weapon) hypersonic aeroballistic missile on an external suspnsion of a strategic bomber of the USAF Boeing B-52H (US Air Force Number 60-0036) during the first test flight, 12.06 .2019 (c) Edwards Air Force Base / USAF Spoiler Ramlaen

Air Force Weapons Program Executive Officer Brig. Gen. Anthony Genatempo told reporters in a June 20 interview here the service is working with Lockheed Martin, the Army, and the Navy to field the Joint Advanced Tactical Missile in 2022. Work began about two years ago. “It has a range greater than AMRAAM, different capabilities onboard to go after that specific [next generation air-dominance] threat set, but certainly longer legs,” he said. “As I bring up JATM production, AMRAAM production is kind of going to start tailing off.” The weapon is initially planned to fly in the F-22’s main weapons bay and on the Navy’s F/A-18, with the F-35 to follow. Flight tests will begin in 2021 and initial operational capability is slated for 2022, Genatempo said. Belesarius

LoooSeR
Quote Quote MOSCOW, March 20. / TASS /. The Russian modernized attack helicopter Mi-28NM will receive a new guided missile “Izdelie 305” with a range of over 25 km. This was reported to TASS on Wednesday by a source in the aircraft building industry. According to the interlocutor, the rocket will fly to the target according to the onboard inertial navigation system, information about the location of the target will be entered into the memory of the system at the time of launch from a helicopter. The Mi-28NM, in turn, will receive the coordinates of the target from its own means of detection or from a troop control system. In the final stage of the flight, the source explained, "the new missile will include a homing head to detect the target in a given area and defeat it." The helicopter will be able to receive the video signal from the rocket via a protected information and command radio line, the source added. Spirit of Hermes-A is strong in this one. The AIM-260A JATM program is the number one air-delivered weapon priority for both the Air Force and the Navy; and out prioritizes other weapon system improvements and modernization efforts on any fielded aircraft. Because of the classified nature of this program, AIM 260A JATM assets cannot be housed in shared facilities with legacy munitions; and must be supported by a facility designed to meet specific operational requirements, and the stricter Special Access Program Facility security requirements. LoooSeR
Some information surfaced about new missile shown on Mi-28NM - LMUR (light multipurpose guided missile, possibly official name for Izdelie 305), people were able to connect dots when designer gave official name to that missile. https://bmpd.livejournal.com/2987129.html from 2017 Quote The new lightweight multifunctional guided missile (LMUR), which operates on the principle of “fire and forget” will be equipped with a multi-channel guidance system. The range of its flight will be from 15 to 18 km, compared with 6-8 km from the existing "Ataka" and "Vikhr" ATGMs. Max range later increased or was misreported earlier. https://iz.ru/858356/2019-03-20/vertolet-mi-28nm-poluchit-novuiu-upravliaemuiu-raketu-izdelie-305 Quote Mi-28NM will receive a new guided missile “Izdelie 305” with a range of over 25 km. This was reported to TASS on Wednesday by a source in the aircraft building industry. /.../ One helicopter will be able to carry 8 of new missiles /.../ Taking into account that in TVZvezda show designers told that helicopter modernization was done in the first place to use that missile it is safe to assume that Izdelie 305 is LMUR. From images of that missile we can conclude that it is 2+ meters long, around ~200-220 mm caliber. Taking into account that Mi-28NM can carry 4 500kg bombs we can predict possible weight of new missile - around 200-250 kg each (8 missiles per gunship with 2 tons max payload). Also, it is very likely that current launchers for those missiles are test models. Guidance system (again from Izveztiya article linked above): Quote According to the interlocutor, the rocket will fly to the target according to the onboard inertial navigation system, information about the location of the target will be entered into the memory of the system at the time of launch from a helicopter. The Mi-28NM, in turn, will receive the coordinates of the target from its own means of detection or from a troop control system. In the final stage of the flight, the source explained, "the new missile will include a homing warhead to detect the target in a given area and defeat it." The helicopter will be able to receive the video signal from the rocket via a protected information and command radio line, the source added. Spoiler Funny how similar parts of LMUR sounds to Hermes-A Quote Maximum firing range, day/night .................................... 15-20 km Guidance system Cruising trajectory stage ......................................... inertial or radio-command Terminal stage ........................ homing Missile was supposed to use rather big HE warhead (around 40-46 kg) to defeat targets (although probably that was planned only for ground-launched version with 100 km range) and it could deal with wide range of targets, not only tanks and AFVs. Difference is that Hermes-A was supposed to be lighter and each Ka-52 could had carry 16 of those things. Also, that long range version of Hermes (100 km) have connection to another weapon system - VTRK. So at this point i can say that Hermes program was probably dead for long time, but parts of it were re-used or under finishing development for weapon systems with different names.
