Beer
Any information about how is Derivatsiya supposed work in the real world? It doesn't have any radar continuously monitoring it's surroundings. Is the top optical head constantly rotating scanning around? If not why does it have two of them? Does it need to work with additional surveillance radar?

Beer
One more question to Dertivatsiya. Do you know what is the antenna on the left side of the turret used for? Is it for IFF or used for tracking the rounds or even the target?

Must Be Spoon Fed
With the advent of drones, we will be going backwards technologically. AA guns placed on tanks, low caliber AA guns, low caliber missile launchers. These kind of weapon platforms should see comeback as a lot of drones do not require high capability, heavy equipment to beat. Though, it will be good decades until drones will mature technologically enough to pose real battlefield combat threat on their own. At the current moment, they are little more than a cool hype. Drones are not hype, even a basic drone can provide profound real time reconnaissance for artillery.
Must Be Spoon Fed
Drones provide negligible combat value and are not in mainstream service yet. Most of high profile projects are still under development. It will take a good decade when such things as drone artillery spotters, tanks using drones to extend their awareness or when drones will be able to perform roles of more complex machinery like military aircraft or submarines. LoooSeR
https://defence-blog.com/news/army/serbia-buys-chinese-air-defense-missile-system.html Heh, Serbia bought Chinese FK-3 AA system, which is export version of Chinese HQ-12 system. China is pushing Russia out of some of markets, some examples are including recent purchase of Chinese ATGMs over Russian ATGMs by Algeria and Belarus MRLS/Armored cars purchases. I'm not gonna lie, this is a way stupider take than your comments in the f35 thread. Not only does beer disagree with you but the Ukrainian army does too. So do the syrians, the Iraqis, the afghanis, the houthi and a fuck ton of other people too on account of them getting their shit wrecked repeatedly by drones of a shockingly wide variety! How the fuck have you managed to miss the last 2 decades?
