Marsh
AFAIK the Chieftain was used in a different scene, the tank driven by Brosnan/Bond was a T-55. There was a scene were multiple "Soviet" tanks could be seen, some of them T-55s and some Chieftains. I don't think so, but I will check with Sean and post again, in a day or so. Marsh
Just got a reply from Sean. I was wrong. My apologies. "My Chieftain was in the film and that scene. But the tank he drives is a T55m, actually about 5 different ones, including a fibreglass one, so, while my tank was there, it wasn't the one he drove, sorry" Donward

That’s Suspicious
I just noticed this, but WTF is going on in this picture? Since when do T-54s have a driver's hatch on the right? The image isn't flipped either; look at the coax and gunsight apertures. Also, whatever this is: That's a Kransnovian Vismod M1. Unless i'm blind. Legiondude
At the pace they're going you could paint that thing in dark green, give it some mudguards and call it a Leopard 2A4 with the same level of passability Jeeps_Guns_Tanks

Walter_Sobchak
I had not heard of this film before. I've certainly seen worse looking movie tanks. Donward

Xlucine
Pretty good tanks, as tanks go. the lack of turret traverse wasn't ideal, but they (and the wooden half of a knocked out pz3) did the job
