Video footage of Houthi forces advancing on key provincial capital

Al-Jawf, Yemen (9:58 A.M.) – Houthi forces, backed by the Yemeni Republican Guard, have made tremendous progress in the Al-Jawf Governorate of northern Yemen this week, capturing several sites from the Hadi loyalists in the Aqraba area.

With their latest gains, the Houthi forces and their allies are now on the fringes of the provincial capital of Al-Jawf, leaving the Hadi loyalists with only one way out of the city.

The Saudi Royal Air Force has attempted to forestall the Houthi advance by launching several airstrikes over the Aqraba area; however, it has done little damage to the anti-government forces.

Video footage below shows the Houthi forces advancing on the provincial capital:

In addition to their advance at Al-Jawf, the Houthi forces have managed to capture several points near Jabal Doud on Friday, killing a large number of Saudi Coalition fighters in the process.

Saudi Arabia, Nadjran province, Houthis (Ansar Allakh) and part of Yemeni army hit 2 SA army M60s parked near one of Saudi Army FOB (probably), with Kornet ATGMs.

Second video from same province, Saudi Arabia M60, armored car and technical got hit by Kornets. Looks like Houthis managed to flank position of that tank and got their backs in sights. It also appears that armored car and technical got damage by single missile.

Houthi forces advance on key Saudi city

Najran, Saudi Arabia (11:00 A.M.) – The Houthi forces, backed by the Yemeni Republican Guard, have advanced more than 15 km deep into Saudi Arabia, seizing several points from the Kingdom’s army along the way.

On Thursday morning, the Houthi forces delivered a powerful blow to the Saudi Army after launching two Tochka ballistic missiles towards the latter’s military camp inside Najran city.

The Houthi missile attack resulted in the destruction of several Saudi Army vehicles, while also killing a significant number of military personnel. Following this missile strike, the Houthi forces made another imperative advance, capturing the remaining points near the Saudi Army’s “Green Zone” in Najran.

If the Saudi Army loses Najran to the Houthi forces; this will be the biggest victory for the latter during this war.

Yesterday video. SA should add 2 Abrams tanks to their recent contract.

From AL-Masdar:

The Houthi forces carried out another powerful assault against the Saudi Army on Wednesday, destroying several armored vehicles inside the village of Al-Khouba in Saudi Arabia’s Jizan Region.

The Resistance media wing released footage from the battle that ensued on Wednesday, showing a score of Saudi armored vehicles destroyed by the Houthi units in southern Saudi Arabia:

With the Yemeni War spilling into the Jizan Region, the Saudi Army has been forced to deploy several units to the southern part of the kingdom.

However, the Saudi Army has been unable to forestall the Houthi forces and Yemeni Republican Guard from advancing further north of the border, leaving them in a tough predicament and prolonged engagement.
