The newest infantry fighting vehicles with the unmanned combat module "Epoch" will go to the troops for experimental operation. According to the state contract concluded with the enterprise in the Ministry of Defense of Russia, 13 vehicles will be bought for testing.
The new unmanned universal combat module "Epoch" is designed to equip prospective armored vehicles. The module is controlled remotely from the commander's terminals and the gunner and does not take up space inside the combat vehicle. The module is equipped with modern missile and cannon armament including missiles "Kornet" and "Bulat".

T-90M

Instead of "slat" armor on chains they now use net to cover lower part of the turret from RPGs, no idea how effective it is and against what PG exactly. ERA seems to be Relikt, LFP still have no proper protection. Mudguards over tracks were reinforced, IDK why it took them so long to do that, it is minor detail, but it is nice to see that MoD/designers did not forgot about that problem.

Gunner's sight have new protection with improved shutters that now can be operated from inside of the vehicle instead of being bolted on 4 bolts like on T-72B3 (was a cheap ass crap, even Soviet tanks had remotely-openable armor plates, that covered optics). RCWS is armed with Kord 12.7 HMG, which is better suited against infantry in urban fights and un-armored vehicles or even light armor compared to PKT. It also seems that T-90M have new backup sight for the gunner - PDT.

No IR dazzlers from Shtora system, as on T-90MS. ERA coverage of turret frontal armor is much better than on T-90A, part over driver's head is also covered with 2 full blocks of ERA instead of one like on Uparmored T-72B3. Mantlet on the gun with hole for coaxial MG - don't khow if it has any sort of armor inserts, but if it does - than it is noticeable improvement over older models as it covers a weakspot. ERA coverage of turret roof and area where frontal armor becomes turret roof also improved, although IDK how turret armor layout was changed from T-90A. And small detail that is visible if you watch closely - ERA blocks on turret roof finally have anti-slippering coating.

Driver still has shitty visibility from that viewport that location and layout was unchaged from Khrushchiov times. Muzzle reference system should have been standart on our tanks by 2000s in ideal world. 360 degr. observation cameras are mounted on FCS weather sensors as on T-90MS.

Anti-RPG net covers whole turret lower side, which is good. Turret side is covered by additional ERA (or NERA?) blocks. Hull side is covered in the same way as on T-72B3 Uparmored and T-80BVM.

Laser sensors (just behind smoke grenades) looks to be new (or at least their armor protection). Anti-slippering coating on roof ERA is visible here.

Some general stats, but i am not sure if they are real or accurate.

Viktor Murakhovskiy's photo. Unknown reason of this:

So that looks like a BMPT turret with a hit to the optics(?) above the guns, but from what, whom & where?

I've been trying to match the camo-pattern to known examples, but no ID so far.....Are there any plausible theories circulating?

There is no optics there, and there is no hit marks on turret as well. A hole above 2 cannons is for MG.
