It would seem that all surviving Hungarian AFVs from WW2 are located in Kubinka. That includes the Turán, Toldi, Zrínyi, and Nimrod.

Thanks. I need to fly to Moscow to see them then. Hungary would be a bit closer :D I am particularly interested in Turán and Zrínyi and I guess you know why.

By the way an off topic and unrelated question... Do you have any Turán preserved in Hungary?

Sadly no. Indeed, almost all surviving AFVs are preserved in Kubinka (or actually, Park Patriot, all of them nicely repainted). Except one. There is a Nimród somewhere stored in Budapest(?), but no idea where. It was exhibited in Zrínyi Miklós National Defence University, but then moved to Petőfi Army Base for restoring it to fully operational condition. After the restoration, it was moved to unknown location.

Some pictures of the restoration:

This one is new. Possible improved version of BPDM Typhoon anti-sabotage vehicle used for ICBM TEL protection. Stolen from otvaga.

It appears to be Mobile reconnaissance point PRP-5.

Today managed to catch military vehicles arriving for a Victory Parade in St.Petersburg. Positioned myself at Troitskiy bridge exit, near Marsovo field, where majority of trucks and AFVs were doing 90 degree turn towards Marsovo field and then to 2 other streets. Artillery vehicles i will post in different thread.

Maybe it is a way to see if someone tinkered with the vehicle while it is unattended. You cant open the door or hood without having to manipulate the string. That is pure speculation though.

No, the ISU-152 is fourth on the picture but not the third one. IMHO it looks like ISU-122 (see the much smaller driver's visor cover and thinner and longer barrel for example).

Driver's vision block armor plate is the same on 152 and 122. Although you are right, after watching parade video you can see that both ISU-122 and ISU-152 were there.
