T-90 vs TOW article on this somewhat popularsite.

Behold the abilities to ignore simplest general information, the deep knowledges of author and terminal idiocy of comments section!

Recently, Russia has provided the SAA with at least six T-90MS Tagil tanks, known as the “TOW Killer.” These relatively advanced MBTs come with an Arena-3 system that tracks, intercepts, and then destroys incoming guided missiles shortly before they reach the vehicle. From the looks of the video, that system didn’t activate.

However, the T-90MS “TOW Killer” is also encased in Kontakt-5 reactive armor blocks in the event, like this one, that a missile gets through. The video shows a massive explosion followed by the crew bailing, but cuts out before any definitive answer as to whether the tank was destroyed, disabled, or merely superficially knocked.

Yes, Centurion is quite tall.  It's taller than Chieftain even.  From what I can tell the M60 is still taller even if you lop off the stupid cupola (height of Israeli variants).

Since armor is about half the weight of an MBT, give or take, (it's upwards of 60% on IS-3), the easiest way to make a tank lighter is to make it smaller.  In tank design the weight of the internal components matters less than their size, because their size dictates the amount of armor required to protect them, and that weighs more than the components themselves.

This is easier to do that you think - tank could drive backwards and rear veiw for a driver on T-34 does not exist. Commander could have been busy with other work.

Israelis and their ability to leave tanks upside down on driving/shooting range is more interesting question.
