Here are some interesting figures I found in a booklet from 1990 on Desert Shield by GDW so take it with a grain of salt.

I remember buying that booklet when it came out.  I still have it.  That was back when I was a teenager and was rather fond of the GDW Assault series of platoon based modern combat.  I remember sitting in my room drawing up my own charts to convert the Avalon Hill Arab Israeli Wars (based on Panzer Blitz) over to the Assault rules system.  Yeah, I was kind of a weird kid.

If there is any justice in this world that particular M577 with the light bar is operated by a police officer named Officer Gavin.

Saved them for a few years maybe, they went under in 1996 according to that wiki link.

 

If only they could repeat their successes. Maybe have Death Wish 6 contain GDW manuals as a major plot point.

Apparently Turkey is working on an APS system.

Strv 122; 

 

1st -> 6.15 seconds

2nd -> 4.86 seconds 

 

M1A2 (only the 1st video is usable); 

 

-> 6.81 seconds discounting the breech closing error, 7.79 seconds including it. 

 

T-72;

 

1st -> ~6.53 seconds

2nd -> 6.86 seconds (longer because I counted the very first movement of the autoloader)

3rd - ~6.98 seconds

 

T-90; 

 

2nd -> 6.10 seconds

 

And I also like this video;

in which I got 6.43 seconds though the firing cycle.
