Collimatrix
An F-22. The device circled in red is a Luneburg lens. This is a small, passive device that dramatically increases the radar cross section of the raptor; very useful for every day flights when air traffic control needs to be able to see the raptor. Collimatrix
Do you know what would make the ME-163 better? Flinging it from a fucking rocket sled, that's what! That's some pucker factor right there. From the Unwanted Blog.

Collimatrix
The X-35 designation was reused? Huh. Their X-32 is rather more attractive than the real thing.
Sturgeon
I wouldn't bet on it, it's from PopMech. They appear to have the Lockheed CL-200 listed as the "X-27". Can't think of any reason why that would be...
LostCosmonaut
It's cool, but it's not perfect. The X-32 and X-33 look pretty weird compared to reality.

Belesarius
Concept I had never heard of before. F6D-1 Missileer "A conceptual U.S. Navy/Douglas F6D-1 Missileer unleashes two long-range Mach 4.5 Bendix AAM-N-10 Eagle air-to-air missiles. As a Cold War Naval fleet defender, the F6D would patrol well away from the carrier attack group, and defend against enemy bombers. Unfortunately, the F6D-1 Missileer was caught up between the outgoing Eisenhower administration, and the incoming Kennedy administration. The Missileer program was canceled in December 1961.Details in the Phantoms and Crusaders Chapter of, "U.S. Combat Aircraft Fly-Off Competitions", by Erik Simonsen. Sturgeon
Yeah, the F6D led directly to the F-14, despite its looks.
