Belesarius
Biggest Great White ever filmed, not biggest shark. Whale sharks are significantly bigger. Collimatrix

Donward
I saw a photo on the Internets of a 20-foot Tiger shark caught off of Australia. Das Google can probably find an image. It hits home to me since our skiff is 20 feet long. *Insert Need a Bigger Boat line here*

Donward
I always thought Tiger Sharks were cooler than Great Whites (my natural contrarian disposition). Although this maybe in part a holdover from the vaguely remembered TigerSharks animated series from the 1980s. Now I'm all about Salmon Sharks which can regulate their body temperature to swim in cold waters.
