For those who don't follow the Syrian War every day, here is what is going on:

 

al-Bab is a major ISIS stronghold that is about 40 km south of the Turkish border.  For the past several months a force of Turkish Army and Turkish-backed militants have been advancing towards al-Bab from the North, while Syrian government forces have been advancing on al-Bab from the South.  The city of al-Bab is now largely encircled.  Syrian government forces recently took control of the highway that enters the city from the East, so getting supplies and troops in and out of the city will be much slower for ISIS.  So one way or another, al-Bab will be liberated from ISIS in the near future.

But there are some problems.  Although Russia, the Syrian government and Turkey all have some sort of secret diplomatic agreement for cooperation in the war, cooperation is not always so easy for the actual military forces.  The Turkish-backed forces consist of many of the same militants who were fighting against Syrian government troops just a few months ago, and fights have broken out between the Syrian government troops and the Turkish-backed forces.  Nearby, the Turkish-backed forces have also been fighting with Kurdish militias.

As I've said before, there are not two sides to the Syrian Civil War.  There are N sides, where N is not necessarily an integer, or even a real number.

Part about "Ingimashi" is wrong as well, i am yet to see Russian-speeking unit of Ingimashi. Part about Rafiq's service in VDV is also hard to verify. And so on.

There is a shortage of fuel in Syria, but Iran continue to supply fuel as usual. Look like ISIS actions near Palmyra and in Eastern Homs province (when they destroyed oil facilities) hit Syria pretty noticeably.
