Interesting flight of the Tu-154 to Iran.

19.11.2015, RA-85563 is going to Iran.

Another Tu-154 (RA-85586) is flying out of Iran just a little bit later

It is possible that those planes were not going to Syria, their destination was Iranian military airport Hamedan.

It is possible that there is a joint Iranian-Russian base in Hamadan, used as a "jumping" point to Syria.

Jabhat Al-Nusra Issues a Distress Call to Turkey as the Syrian Army Advances in Northern Latakia

Latakia-Map.jpg?resize=960%2C802

Over the last 24 hours, the Syrian Al-Qaeda group “Jabhat Al-Nusra” and the Free Syrian Army’s “1st Coastal Brigade” have retreated from several sites inside Jabal Al-Turkmen (Turkmen Mountains) after the Syrian Arab Army’s 103rd Brigade of the Republican Guard launched a massive offensive in the Latakia Governorate’s northern countryside.

The Syrian Arab Army’s 103rd Brigade – in coordination with the National Defense Forces (NDF) of Qurdaha, the Syrian Social Nationalist Party (SSNP), and Muqawama Souri (Syrian resistance) – began their offensive in Jabal Al-Turkmen by securing Al-Daghmashliyah after the Islamist rebels fought their way back inside of this village on Wednesday.

Following their success at Al-Daghmashliyah, the Syrian Armed Forces imposed full control over the village of Ziwayk and its imperative hilltop before advancing to the nearby town of Shamaysah in Jabal Al-Turkmen.

In addition to their success at the aforementioned sites, the Syrian Armed Forces captured Point 1112, Point 482, Tal Thamamiyah, Kawa Al-Hatab, and Tal Thalatha in the Al-Zahiyah Mountains in northern Latakia after advancing north from the hilltop of Tal Ziwayk.

As a result of this advance by the Syrian Armed Forces, the Turkmen members of Jabhat Al-Nusra issued a distress call to their allies in Turkey (via social media) in order to motivate them to come to their aid in northern Latakia.

Saudi Regime Faces Deadlock: Double-Faced Game of Terrorism Is Over

As the terrorist groups dared to strike the depth of the Western security in Paris on November 14, the Euro-American stance towards the Saudi-produced terrorism reached a major turning point, removing a basic card from Riyadh in its double-faced game.

The kingdom of the Saudi regime has always attempted to employ the terrorist groups as a main weapon in its political disputes, especially in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and Yemen, benefiting from the Western full support to its policy; whereas, Paris attacks have established new anti-terrorist rules that Riyadh has to respect in its strategic policies.

The Arab-Western coalition which has supported the terrorist groups and employed them in its Middle East scheme was shaken by the severe blow that France suffered last week at the hands of ISIL militants and suicide bombers.

The European endeavor to confront the terrorist organization met the Russian announcement that a terrorist act was behind the plane crash two weeks ago, which meant that Moscow would intensify its anti-terrorist campaign in Syria. This contradicts with the Saudi regime’s interests and plots.

The Lebanese political analyst Faisal Abdul Sater said, in an interview with Al-Manar website, that although the change in the Western stance towards the terrorist groups is not drastic, Paris terrorist attacks shook the principles of the Western policy which was based on supporting terrorism against the adversary regimes, which will certainly force the Saudi regime to undergo a considerable political alteration.

“We will witness several modifications in this concern. The issue has started to augment.”

Abdul Sater noted the Saudi regime has always blackmailed France by the billion-dollar deals to gain the French help in its unjust policies and wars, adding that France is no longer able to approve such an approach as terrorism struck its capital.

“As an indication to that change, Riyadh ordered all the Saudis in France to reduce their movement across the French territories after Paris attacks because KSA knows that its nationals are undesirable in Europe since they are viewed as the main producers of terrorism.”

Being the main producer and employer of terrorism, the Saudi regime tried, during the recent Vienna conference, to promote some terrorist groups as “moderate”; however, the world powers, especially Russia, rejected that categorically.

In the context of Riyadh’s frustrated plots, Abdul Sater added that Saudi also failed to instigate the Western countries against Iran and its nuclear program as the relations between Tehran and major European capitals, mainly Paris, are witnessing a remarkable progress in light of the Iranian president Hasan Rouhani’s scheduled visit to France that was postponed after Paris attacks.

The Saudi stalemate is being intensified as the battlefield situation in Yemen indicates that the Yemeni army and popular committees are heading to achieve a major victory since the Saudi-led terrorists failed to attain a remarkable progress on the ground, according to Abdul Sater who pointed out that there must be a political solution in Yemen regardless of the Saudi will.

The Lebanese political writer considered that terrorism will backlash at Saudi as its internal conditions are disturbed by power-sharing conflicts, financial corruption and the religious fanaticism which has always produced, embraced and supported terrorism.

Saudi will be forced to stop playing its double-faced game so that the Saudi Emirs will no longer wear the traditional dresses in KSA and instruct the terrorists to strike the world cities while wearing suits and neckties as they pay visits to the Western capitals lecturing on democracy and human rights.

The Saudi regime is facing a deadlock whether it keeps on backing terrorism and defies the West or changes its stance towards the terrorist groups and challenges the monster on its territories.

“The Saudis can never defy the Western will and that they are ultimately going comply with the Euro-American orders,” Faisal Abdul Sater concludes.

Looks like SAA advances were result of yesterday combat

Syrian Army Launches a Massive Operation in Northern Latakia: Several Sites Captured

On Thursday morning in the Latakia Governorate’s northern countryside, the Syrian Arab Army’s 103rd Brigade of the Republican Guard – in coordination with the National Defense Forces (NDF) of Qurdaha, the Syrian Social Nationalist Party (SSNP), and Muqawama Souri – launched a massive military operation at Jabal Al-Turkmen (Turkmen Mountains) in order to capture several sites along the strategic Aleppo-Latakia Highway.

The assault began at 9:30 A.M. (Damascus Time) when the 103rd Brigade stormed the Islamist rebel defenses at Tal Ziwayk, killing several enemy combatants from the Free Syrian Army’s “1st Costal Brigade” and the Syrian Al-Qaeda group “Jabhat Al-Nusra”, while also destroying 6 armored vehicles that were mounted with anti-aircraft machine guns.

Following the capture of Tal Ziwayk, the Syrian Arab Army’s 103rd Brigade and their allies conducted a powerful assault on Point 482 and Point 1112, seizing these two hilltops from Jabhat Al-Nusra and the FSA’s 1st Coastal Brigade after a series of intense firefights that ended with the aforementioned Islamist groups retreating north towards the Turkish border.

However, the Syrian Arab Army’s 103rd Brigade and their allies did not stop there, they shifted gears to concentrate on the northern hilltops of Jabal Nabi Younis (Prophet Jonah Mountains); this resulted in their advance to the hilltop village of Ghanimah, where they were confronted by Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham and the FSA’s “Liwaa Suqour Al-Ghaab.”

This massive military operation began two days after the Islamist rebels attempted to retake the town of Deir Hanna after it was captured by the Syrian Arab Army during their advance from Ghmmam.

The purpose of this offensive is to eventually seize the Syrian-Turkish border, which is predominately controlled by the Islamist rebels.

Over 30 ISIS Fighters Killed While Storming the Deir Ezzor Military Airport

The Deir Ezzor Military Airport has been the scene of some of the most violent firefights around Syria, as the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) has sacrificed several fighters in an attempt to take control of this strategic site in eastern Syria.

On Thursday morning, ISIS launched another large-scale assault on the Deir Ezzor Military Airport’s eastern perimeter, striking the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) defensive positions at the Ceramic Factory and the military terrain that separates the village of Al-Jafra and this integral base.

Unfortunately for ISIS, this large-scale assault on the Deir Ezzor Military Airport ended in disaster once again, as the Syrian Arab Army’s 137th Artillery Brigade of the 17th Reserve Division and the 104th Airborne Brigade of the Republican Guard overpowered the encroaching terrorists and conducted a counter-attack to retake the territory they lost last week at the eastern flank.

According to a soldier from the Syrian Arab Army’s 104th Airborne Brigade, the Syrian Armed Forces cleared a little over 200 meters of territory at the eastern perimeter of the airport, while also killing over 30 enemy combatants from ISIS before the aforementioned terrorist group retreated towards the destroyed suspension bridge that leads to the eastern bank of the Euphrates River.

For ISIS, this disastrous assault marks the first time since late October that they charged the eastern perimeter of the Deir Ezzor Military Airport; previously, they attempted to advance through the southern flank of the airbase.

Tiger Forces Advance South of the Kuweires Airport: Sheikh Ahmad Railway Station Captured

The Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) has suffered more setbacks along the Kuweries Military Airport front, as they conceded more territory to the Syrian Armed Forces on Thursday after suffering huge losses the night before in the Aleppo Governorate’s eastern countryside.

On Thursday afternoon in the eastern Aleppo countryside, the Syrian Arab Army’s “Tiger Forces” – in coordination with the National Defense Forces (NDF) of Aleppo City, Harakat Al-Nujaba (Iraqi paramilitary) and Hezbollah – imposed full control over Sheikh Ahmad Railway Station after a series of intense firefights with ISIS near the Kuweries Military Airport.

Following the capture of the Sheikh Ahmad Railway Station, the Tiger Forces and their allies advanced to the Sheikh Ahmad Production Facility, where they encountered a large contingent from ISIS at this site located directly south of the recently captured village Kaskays.

Not long after they began their assault on the Sheikh Ahmad Production Facility, the Tiger Forces announced the capture of this site, resulting in the death of over 20 enemy combatants and the destruction of 3 armored vehicles that belonged to the terrorist group.

Currently, the Tiger Forces and their allies are steadily advancing at this front in eastern Aleppo; meanwhile, ISIS is rapidly falling apart as their defenses have collapsed in an area that was once considered untouchable.

SAA continue to clear area around Kuweiris airport. If they will be as successfull in this as before and now, in 2-3 weeks airport will be secure enough for helis.

All Quiet on the ISIS Front: Russian Air Force Destroys the Terrorist Group’s Media Center in Northern Aleppo

“The Russian Air Force does not target ISIS!”

Oddly enough, this could not be any further from the truth; in fact, the Russian Air Force has done more damage to the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham’s (ISIS) foundation than any other air force in the last three years.

Western publications that gather their information from Syrian Opposition activists often regurgitate the same hyperbolized news which attempts to propagate the idea that the Russian Air Force is non-existent in the fight against ISIS.

When Al-Masdar News contacted a source in the Syrian Air Defense about this allegation, the military officer responded: “read the Da’esh (ISIS) reports”.

Unfortunately, this will be rather difficult in the next few days, as the main ISIS media center that operates out of the northern Aleppo city of Menbeij has been reportedly destroyed by the Russian Air Force on Thursday.

Further adding insult to injury to the ISIS Central Command, the Russian Air Force destroyed the terrorist group’s large weapons depot near the media center.

ISIS has been blessed with a great media center; however, this media center also acts as a communication hub for all of the ISIS groups operating in northern Syria.

Without an intermediary to organize reinforcements and deliver messages, the terrorist group is uncharacteristically silent, thanks in large part to the Russian Air Force precise airstrikes in both northern Aleppo and the provincial capital of the Al-Raqqa Governorate.
