Evidently, this is such a common practice that it’s actually pretty difficult (for me at least) to find a photo that shows this box in its ‘correct’ position, but this photo of a T-80UD in Pakistan should give an idea. Tank is reliable, not demanding in maintenance. Have pretty good "Plisa" thermal imager with nice image quality. Have RCWS that is controlled from inside. Equipped with GTA-18 APU. Soft suspension, not afraid of cold or heat. This specific vehicle have "Garpia" jammer installed against drones (antennas are not mounted on the video), jammer was tested on drones with different software (difference in how they react to loss of signal to operator). Tank belongs to 1st Guards tank army of the Western Military District. Main targets - infantry positions, observation points. Not many vehicles on their part of frontline.
