Since you still seem to belive that your russian comrades over there in Ukraine are fighting like a bunch of 40k Spacemarines and only ~6000 have fallen against ukrainian human waves:

Make ~6020 out of it. I assume it's futile to try to convince you that this is not an isolated case and you will stay with your 4 digits number.

And yet it still doesn't indicate that the causalities are that severe as ridicules Ukrainian propaganda has claimed time after time.   Which by this point would indicate they whipped out 3 times the amount of troops Russia sent.    But hey logic isn't you're strongest point  that is quite obvious.

Such system would actually be great for Sosna and 2S38 Derivatsiya-PVO 57-mm SPAAG. Would actually make them useful.

But hey Russian   MoD is run by clowns and furniture salesmen.

  3. A country the size of western Europe and 40 million population.  funded and supplied by the west.   I'm not sure what the fuck the Russian leadership was thinking all this time.   Wasted money, equipment and apparently 5937 Russian soldiers lives and not to mention 3500 missiles on target of not much value.

Just to now to start mobilize and take this shit finally seriously.

Honestly, I have more and more sympathy for Stalin.

  4. Actually, they are right.  TB2 actually hasn't done shit in stopping Russians.

    Also, the latest.

Our source in the OP said that in the last two weeks we have lost more Bayraktar TB2 than in the entire war. The failure of the operation to storm the Serpentine and unsuccessful flights to military facilities in Russia cost us 50 Baikatars. The Turkish side has already expressed its dissatisfaction with the use of drones, but the General Staff has its own vision on the use of Bayraktar TB2.

  5. Looser. This half-assed attempt at a war is incredibly damaging to Russia not only in terms of blood  but  image also.

What's the thought currently on the street would you say ?  From what  I hear  People are pissed  how this war  is fought.  Even the  liberals  at least the youth  is on the  'fuck the Ukrainian's " bandwagon.

How the fuck did Putin managed to fuck up  this badly?

Anyone got intel on wtf is going on here?

The state of things is this.    Though not quite up to date.

Basically Ukrainian forces are trapped  and squeezed in Donetsk Pavlograd pocket and are being slowly cleansed in places like  Mariupol, etc.   However due to limiting Civ casualties things have been going slow and bloody.   Also doesn't help that Ukrainian forces are  basicly using civ's as shields.  Placing their own artillery near points like schools  populated flats; etc.    Then of course this.

Overall,  things aren't  like Ukrainians are trying to portray.    But you can also say that the  entire operation seems like it wasn't well thought out and not at all prepared for on the Russian part.

Pulling punches is also stupid.  As a lot of AD got away.  Not targeting barracks  and civilian communications also.   And that list can go on and on.

    So...

I have a question, and I don't have an answer.

Right now, in English-language "respectable" news sources, I am seeing a lot of stories of Ukrainian bravery and staunch resistance and heavy Russian losses.  I am pretty sure that some of these stories might even be true.

But who exactly is collating these stories and publishing them to English-speaking audiences?  Does Ukraine have an incredibly slick media interface to their American allies that knows exactly what buttons to push?  Or am I watching mostly American self-deception?

I am increasingly convinced it is the latter.

Well,  even the BBC isn't swallowing Ukranian bullshit like they did in 2014   And truly there are a lot of laughable claims like a MiG-29 claiming a pair of Su-35's and what not.    A video used from Syria to showcase Ukrainians whipping out a column of Russian troops.   Zmeiny island garrison  we're   supposedly a squad of border guards refused to surrender and died bravely.    Non  of them were killed, they all gave up, and now in Crimea.
