I do approve of their use of varying refrains, mindless masses who would be frustrated at having to memorize extra lyrics to sing along be damned.
I also admire that in songs, it gives them the feel of being somewhat more of a story than just something to be sang plainly, than with occasional reference to that one line you can remember.

The bullshit populist version, sure, but also one of our possible futures.
This thread is for musing on how things will go, with an an emphasis on accuracy.
As all I can really speak to is biotech stuff, I will be posting a bit in that line here and there. For the rest, I invite our learned electronics engineers/internet pedants to provide their views on how things will go from here on out.
That seems like the place that the Japanese would have it go.

Catchy as hell, maybe made more so, (for me) as one who does not speak Arabic.

Joy:
A young woman, ironically named for the emotion she expresses the least, decides to abandon her family's early-taught ideas on a tidy, domestic life and join the government of a burgeoning Soviet state. Her first assignment is to assassinate the leader of an American media outlet. She immediately falls into a faux relationship with the man, only to execute him in a one-woman firing squad with a shotgun.
Heraldry/Vexillology Thread

The practices of heraldry and vexillology are certainly ancient and, for the right people, fascinating topics. The shared terminology of heraldry/vexillology and the way that different designs are described certainly can be painstaking to learn, but rewarding to know when studying or discussing the topic. Also, the legends behind the origins of flags are hilarious and ridiculous. The notable exception being the legendary origin of the Dannebrog, which is truly a sign from God that the Danes are meant to be victorious against all foes.
