  1. I assume you're liking the T14 then?  I assumed it'd be fairly disappointing.  The M4A2 is not doing so hot at the same BR and on paper at least looks similar.  The MG weakspot and fairly flat 76mm turret face mean I've generally not had issues with them.  Seeing as the KV-1 ZiS-3 is the same BR, does the T14 do much better at anything?

I don't know, if you can actually find a later model one, they're pretty nice, they're one of the absolute smallest pocket pistols on the market and about one of the lightest, they also come in a 9x18mm Makarov chambering which is really nice but, I'm not sure MRI makes the Makie version.

I actually own one, part of the reason I was curious in the first place.  I've not really got any good pics of mine on hand, but it's in the low 4 digit SN range.  They're well built little things, I could tell where the money went when I picked one up my first time.

I know the actual designers of the gun MRI bought the rights from, ZVI (Czech based company, used to actually be part of the makers of the recently much talked about FK BRNO pistol before splitting off) had a massive layoff in 2013, that had some rather clear impact on the original Kevin ZP98 model throughout the world.

They had to slightly modify the design to get it approved for US importation and manufacture, this lead to some early problems for the US made guns but they got ironed out, as for whether they still make them, well.....

I didn't have much trouble finding it on their site. *shrug*

I probably should have clarified, but I couldn't find the gun itself listed on their shop page.  Google still pulls that page up for me too, but nothing on their site seems to still link to it otherwise.

I'll admit to not knowing too much of the business side of things, but while I can see how that'd hurt how many Kevins they're making, don't see how it would impact the MDE's numbers.  My understanding was that once Magnum Research got ahold of the rights to make a gun like that, they no longer needed to worry about ZVI.  Kahr did buy out Magnum Research in 2010, so it could also maybe be that Kahr killed the MDE off shortly after taking over.  Between the price, issues with early ones, and the weird look to it, wouldn't be surprised if it just wasn't selling well enough.

  4. Since I can't really find anything about this and a lot of you all here tend to be a bit more in the know than I am, would anyone here know if Magnum Research discontinued the Micro Desert Eagle?  It first showed up in 2007 and was talked about for a few years, but seems to have disappeared by 2012.  Magnum Research no longer lists the gun itself on their site, but beyond those two facts, I've got nothing else to really go off of.

  5. Guess I'll have to see if the B1 ter ends up more like the Matilda II or Churchy I.  Matilda II has a bad gun and not enough armor to back it up.  Churchill I still has a bad gun, but its armor causes the bad guys at least struggle at killing you too.  It's got a more usable hull layout than the Matilda II, but I can't remember if they ever uparmored the turret compared to the earlier models.

My favorite part is how this string of tweets starts out with him more or less saying "I'm not blaming Russia for this, but..."

It's like that Aliens meme with the history channel guy, but now it's Russians.

    Nice.

I suck at tanks with no turrets.

Most of what I did in that battle was in the KV-1, I honestly played a little sloppy in the SU-85 and let myself die to a T-28 that I should have had no issue with.

I'm fine with turretless things usually, I just like them having some usable mix of small size, speed, and armor.  It limits the routes you can effectively take to the ones with only one direction to worry about enemies at, but I still can be about as aggressive in them as I am in a Sherman or T-34.  KV-1 just gives no fucks and goes where it wants, when it wants.

Also, the fact that my KV-1 had a talisman may be the reason why my RP gains where better in that match.

  8. The largest body of water in my area is probably someone's bird bath and that smells like obvious BS even to me.  I guess if you're stupid enough to try to pull something like this, then chances are you're going to be too stupid to keep your story consistent and believable.

Is that without premium? 4215 RP seems absurdly low for 17 ground kills.

It's premium, had a 10% RP booster going too I think.  Gaijin doesn't like rewarding you much for being efficient and killing stuff in a single shot and a lot of my kills were from taking someone down in a single well-placed shot.

  10. I realize antifa isn't very organized, but you can't deny that the black-clad trashcan-kickers and their friends still have some level of organization.  It was actually a reason I listed for stuff not happening in my last post, that the more national sorts of groups trying to start it failed to reach out to the local groups for where they wanted stuff to happen.  I don't know where you live, but I know that plenty of cities do have their own "chapters" of antifa.

The signs and ads and all the stuff wasn't that cheap either.  I know that you can print that stuff out easily enough, but one of the ads alone I'm seeing quoted as $150k.  That's a pretty high price tag for merely trolling, which is why I say that the stuff on the fourth was a result of some of the more powerful people in commieworld trying to cause something, but not being able to actually get anyone to show up.  I don't expect people in the far-left to take it seriously when it's only a few people buying stuff that actually want it to happen.  Them saying it would happen is the only reason it would have happened in the first place, they had nothing to react to.

OK now I'm annoyed and I'm going to have to play Frenchy planes!  Why you ask? Because the US line, gets a lamer version of a plane I love the Skyraider, the US line gets the AD-2 a korean war version with only 2 20mm cannons.  The French get the AD-4 with 4 20mm cannons and WAY more ordnance loadouts! WTF Wargaming?!  Why do the French get the best version of a US plane??

Not to mention that this is trapped in there too

  12. I'm sure there was a degree of that as well, but I would have been surprised if they could have pulled those protests off in the first place.  You at least had someone throwing money it at, they had plenty of pre-made signs to march with and had taken a few rather sizable newspaper ads.  Regardless, I figured it'd be more likely for nothing to happen, but that's just a lot less exciting.  I've heard some people say that there was a failure to communicate between the people running it like ResistFascism and the local antifa and commie groups, that'd also help explain the poor turnout.

The majority of these people probably just couldn't be bothered to show up since they didn't have any motivation in the first place.  Most of the riots that I'm aware of that these people have pulled in the past were in response to something, be it Trump taking office, scary people talking on campus, or other stuff like that.  With this, I think all they had to motivate themselves was I guess November 4th is a special date for commies?  Historical fun facts don't motivate people like being hysterical about Ronald Gumpf taking office does, there was no "threat" for them to get out and #RESIST.
