  1. Because of the lift fan space, it has a diffferent than optimum internal space design. At least if I read that article right... I'm also really surprised that the USMC and frankly, all of the branches haven't done more to leverage the potential of the V-22 program. The V-22 has a lot of potential as a CAS/COIN platform, and as well as Tanker Ops, AEW/ELINT etc. Also interesting that they are going to be using it to replace the C-2.
  2. Very good read, and probably one of the best pro-F35 articles I've read in a while.
  3. Russia and China appear to be willing to co operate in building a 10K ton nuclear powered destroyer. http://www.wantchinatimes.com/news-subclass-cnt.aspx?cid=1101&MainCatID=11&id=20150319000149 http://defense-update.com/20141024_russia-to-build-12-nuclear-powered-leader-destroyers.html#.VRgQ_eEufpo

  8. Is that supposed to be some sort of SAW version of the M-16? I've seen a bunch of variants, but not that one. Also... loooooong site radius.
  9. As I've said before, I think Diefenbaker should be resurrected and then burned at the stake for that particular decision. Not because of the aircraft in particular, but for the damage that the collapse of AVRO did to the Canadian aerospace industry.
  10. Well, if we're gonna give Colli a nuclear powered train, we need to give him his own nuclear arsenal to defend it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGM-118_Peacekeeper
  11. I lerned from teh Colli 'dat the wings need to be moar forward swept than that to raise the critical mach number.
  12. Oh fucking great. Extremists that like to fund terrorism all over the fucking world with nukes.
  13. Edited the title of the post to reflect the nature of the forum, and to be less drunken-ramble, and more on point.
