I was looking at a chart yesterday for Inauguration turnout and his first one was listed as having something like 1.8 million people in attendance, a peak probably of all time since the thing measured back to FDR, IIRC

I've never been clear on why the E-100 was called that.  It didn't have the same belleville washer suspension as the other E-series tanks, which was supposedly the reason they were all called that.

Well E-100's design is jumbled due to the fact that it aped off the Tiger-Maus, and received incremental design changes/proposals all the way to the end of the war

As much as I love original Star Trek and Captain Kirk, I think it's pretty apparent that Shatner is a bit of a douche.  His saving grace is that as he has gotten older he realized that his only career option is playing the character of "Bill Shatner."  Anyhow, if anyone ever wants to waste two hours of their life, I dare them to suffer through Shatner's documentary film "The Captains" in which he interviews all the other actors that have played the lead character in the various star trek series.  My favorite part is Avery Brooks (Sisko is my favorite star trek captain in case you care) who pretty much refuses to take Shatner seriously, answering all his questions with jazz piano.

I just watched Starship Troopers, and its good even with bad CGI. I think it would be worse if it had better CGI. 

I believe among the community, the general consensus is that when it had worse effects than #1 it was #2, and #2 was baaaaaaaaaaad(Effects being only part of it mind you).

#3 was passable for the fact that it actually retained continuity with the first, and #4 is fully CGI animated(direct-to-video, but I haven't seen anything particularly scathing about it since I saw it)

And then there's Roughnecks, which like Firefly is one of those shows that was yanked too soon.

And it's being replaced by an even better phony napkinwaffe Wehraboo wank tank.

There are a number of vehicles in-game that are shown as being a self-contained fighting unit, but historically weren't really.  M53/55s were followed around by an ammo trailer because their internal ammo stowage was so minuscule.  The AMX-13 F3 couldn't even fit the entire crew in the vehicle; they had to ride around behind in an APC or whatever.

 

I'm guessing Grille 15 would have been similar; literally just a weapon carrier, with the bulk of the ammo and possibly even the crew carried separately in an auxiliary vehicle.

I once made a joke about the crew hitboxes for the Waffen IV and how they'd basically have to sit with their legs dangling off the end of the tank, and The_Chieftain basically confirmed that's how it is
