But all cartridges have major shortcomings - namely, people are not buying them from me.
I have an unhealthy fetish for super-heavy .35 caliber rounds built around integrally suppressed single shots. What have you got for me?

Edge alignment is very important to reducing the radar cross section of your polearm.
What?
Oh, yeah, sure. And I repolarize my turbo encabulator every 2000 miles.

I didn't see the WoT post.
I tend to stay away from WoT forums, they smell funny.

I dunno, my mom says I look fine during said act.

Colli-man, do you have a fictional writing piece? Care to give us a sample?

Ah. So bacon day at Dennys? Gotchya.

It seems I have accidentally DDoSed the 68forums.
They didn't have the internet in 1990s ancient greece.
What does DDoSed mean?

Uh oh, "Rifter" over at the 68 forums really put a hurt on the Author! He even says so!
"He got told about his lack of facts by me and and couple of others. I just spent an hour over there dropping the hammer on him. He claims he's been lurking over here but it sure doesn't seem like it. He just doesn't seem to know what really is going on."

Compare the .30-30 LEVERevolution stuff to 6.8SPC. See what comes out on top. That would be an entertaining, and pointless, article.
Thread retitled to be more accurate.
Lots of additional lulz to be had over at 68forums, including constructor trying to insult me and accidentally insulting 68forum members, instead.Damnit, damnit damnit, why did I click that? Why? I hate you, Sturgis-man.
EDIT:
After reading through the forum post, some are actually like "Guys, we shouldn't be so quick, did you read his article?" And then the rest do something like this.
"Yeah, so we were wrong and lieing just to get the community angry at this author, but who cares? He hates 6.8. He hates something we love. We can't abide by that."

My favorite so far is Mad Gorilla.
Mad_Gorilla Nathaniel F. • 3 hours agoIt is not disingenuous or misleading. Nearly every military dropped the 6.5 in favor of something in the .30 caliber range. 6.5 just wasn't effective on the battlefield. When everybody went to spitzers in the mid-20's, the 6.5s couldn't compete because the bullets were too light after the change to spitzer. And that was in cases about the same size as the .308. Put a 6.5 in an a case that only has half the powder of the .308, and you still have the same issues. And yes, .013" does make a difference. Everybody rants about BC, but I'll take a lower BC better balanced bullet over a long skinny high BC any day.

Some of us have a very... distinct, palate.

I'm confused and intrigued. Please, continue.
I put together a much better list of characters. Now I'm trying to decide on what to name each character.

Just for measure, purely scientific interest, how large is that Daidal acanthocercus? Large as, say, a small dog? A petite human? Could you possibly fit a collar around its exoskeleton?
Do you think its appendages had the dexterity to undo knots?

A trike fit for our Teutonic overlords.

Alright guys, there's got to be more creativity here in these annals.
If I don't see something, I'm going to start posting crustacean slashfiction.

I love it, and so do you.

That's very good, I believe.
I'm just about done with a set of human characters for my next novel. I'll get on the other races soon.

Lamentably when I open word it's for nerd boardgames, not word stringing together (incidentally, I have put up a link to my rules draft on that thread)
I always thought I'd have much too much fun with tabletop gaming. But everytime I visit a local lounge or game shop, but the smell usually scares me away.
The Official Feathered Dinosaur Shitstorm Thread
in Biosciences

That's a vast oversimplification, and even at that you left out a couple pretty important factors.
And to the topic at hand, some dinosaurs had feathers. Some did not. To make broad claims over millions of years, in a greatly changing climate and ecosystem, would be silly.
They had as many feathers as they needed to survive. They were as colorful as required for their niche. Dinosaurs aren't some mythical set of unicorns that defy all known population genetics knowledge.
