TLDR: Every candidate but Rand sucks.
FIFY
The Ted victory is a massive disappointment, for me at least. I'd rather have Trump, at least he doesn't have a hate-boner for Putin.

Here's a higher-res version of that image; https://tanksdb.ru/images/photos/t-15/tanksdb.ru_t-15_01.jpg
Bumer is really a stunner. I mean, compared to the Stryker....

From what I hear, this was pre-MS.A proposal for T-90A protection upgrade kit.
The new T-72B3 should look pretty similar.

After 3 hours of trying to solve (the) a formula for MMP without Wolfram, I finally gave up, bought the $3 app (worth it), and got my figure...
T-90MS has a MMP of 237.3 kpa or whatever the figure is. My only possible source of error is the track pitch, where I used .172 m after measuring and scaling some pictures.
Using the same formula, you get 232 for the T-72B3, and (probably) 234 for the T-90A. The difference in these figures is negligible.

You think? I keep hearing the MS isn't well rounded enough to be a properly 'good' tank.
-
Thanks to a friend of mine grinding XP for me, I'm about to get the T-90. It better be as STRONK as it is IRL.
-
That's the 99A-lookalike light tank, right?
-
The real question we all have on mind; does anyone here have good information on the 2E26M gun stabilizer (used on early T-64B and T-80B)? I can't seem to find anything.
-
Thanks for the info Bronezhilet, the article was corrected with your information.

My stunning GIF!
It was supposed to be timed correctly but that was basically impossible.

All credit goes to Tiles.
All I did was the loading GIF

I have a question regarding the T-80U (for a project I am working on).
Did it use the same 5-layer Glacis armour arrangement as the T-80BV?
Aka this;
I'd expect at least the early units to use this ^, but the USSR never really settled on one layout (and they were moving to NERA at this time point).
-
They were showing off the microwave ignition propellants. Not the best demonstration, but Zvezda has done far, far worse.I like the one where they use Koalitsiya ammo to blow up a microwave.

Great news
and I predicted it a while ago on a different forum, ego boosted.Ukraine was so slow with the BM Oplot deal, that this makes sense. Thailand originally wanted over a 100 MBT's.

Don't insult STRONK Russia, Putin is just around the corner.Dang, the Armata-based Coalition is taking its sweet time.
To me, it seems like we won't see the Armata-based 2S35 until further into the program, maybe serial units.
-
UFP visually feels much thinner than normal B models. Or my eyes are playing with me.
This is no B, it is an early-export T-72 (not A or .
It does look off, maybe Iraq modified the glacis somehow. Their "tank factory" could not build any tanks (hence the Asad Babil is debunked), but it could work on them.
-
Thoughts....well, it basically was nothing more than a fan render. I don't think anything from this concept with make it into the serial T-14. The units we have seen are pretty much the final result, though the turret and its' "canopy" will probably change.
-
Such a tease, only one minute. Zvezda better have a long episode in store.
Still, good to see it fire. Apparently it fired a round in the same crater as a round it had already fired, at 4-5 kilometers.
-
No such thingIs this Assad Babil?
I'm not completely sure, but they might be the Object 172M-E2 of which Iraq purchased a few hundred of (in the late 70's).
-
^ This picture was just used in a US article about "Putin’s Outrageous Defense Spending Puts Russia Back in the USSR".
Classic

Just a reminder - T-72B3 is a piece of crap, with protection level of T-72 from late 80s. All, who think otherwise are traitors of the Rogatka, T-90AM and T-14, and must be send into combat inside of the T-72B3.
Changing that would require a new turret, new Glacis armour, new ERA etc. B3 is no stunner, but at least it improves the FCS and firepower. Hopefully we will see Relikt kits being fitted in them to minimize the issue of armour.
To Ukraine (in a B3) I go!
-
Well, the Proriv-3They should have bought those year or 2 ago, and modify T-72s into T-90AM instead of T-72B3s.
T-72B to T-90AM/M would be a massive pain, given the new turret. If Russia had more time and money, they might have.

Short Zvezda video on the T-90MS;
EDIT:
If you answer I'll give you a Ruble, Tied.

That economic remark is; IMF wants the Chinese economy, and now it is official.
RIP China, ####-2015.

Exactly, and I'm hoping that stays true. Maybe Rand can travel around some more so he can be better recognized.
I swear though, if Bernie, Hillary, Cruz, Rubio, or Carson is elected, I'm packing up my backs and moving to Russia.
Maybe Putin can run for the election here, he'd have my vote.
