Or, in the real world, they stopped using the TP-82 because it's ammunition is out of supply. But you can't write a self-congratulatory article about that.

I've heard the "ran out of ammunition" claim before. Dunno that I buy it; IIRC it shoots bog standard 5.45 and 32 gauge.

ED: The shotshells may actually be proprietary.
