Are the colors wrong on the officer's uniform? Isn't the Army Red and the KGB blue, but not Air Force blue?
Also, Russian Federation tea-glass holders.

Not a problem! I'm always happy to share what I can!

The San Francisco Maritime Museum has a wealth of technical manuals for the US Navy. Of particular interest (to me at least) are the myriad of gunnery manuals they have hosted.
Anyways, Enjoy!

I learned today that the CSA constitution says this:
"No bill of attainder, ex post facto law, or law denying or impairing the right of property in negro slaves shall be passed."
Muh (lack of) States rights
Hands down one of my favorite facts to bring up.

Huh, I was under the impression that there was only one other one that was mostly completed and the others were more or frames with bits of tiles on them

I'm probably the only person on Earth who will recommend The Pacific over Band of Brothers. It's probably one of the better depictions of the PTO in a Hollywood production, and the combat sequences are pretty much the most terrifying put on screen. Jeeps wasn't kidding when he said they're incredibly graphic. Also, for me at least, it avoids my biggest issue with Band of Brothers which is that implication that E Company 2nd Battalion 506th PIR was somehow the best US Army Infantry Unit. A lot of The Pacific shows that 2/1 and 3/5 Marines were just cogs in a much larger war machine.
With that said, I also want to echo what Tied said. Generation Kill is pretty fantastic. It focuses more on the day to day interaction between Marines while overseas than combat. In fact one of the major focus points is how much 'Hurry up and wait' is involved vs actual combat. IMO it's probably my favorite HBO War series.

USS Halibut (SSGN-587) - until the Ohio-class conversions, Halibut was the only SSGN to see service with the US Navy. She was converted to an SSN, but her primary claim to fame was performing submarine espionage. Her exploits include the tapping of Soviet underwater telephone lines (Operation Ivy Bells) and the initial survey of K-129. She was equipped with ROVs for inspection of the ocean floor and a diving chamber that was disguised as a prototype DSRV. She was decommissioned in 1976 and scrapped in 1994.
