Yet another suggestion:
Design an anti-drone system
Drones are everywhere these days, with more and more coming out each year as new uses are found for cheap, disposable and semi-autonomous air assets.
Lately the buzzword in drones is swarming, with systems like PERDIX and LOCUST demonstrating that hundreds of small UAVs could be used to perform missions. This poses serious challenges for traditional air defences systems, as the swarm may saturate an area with targets too small to be worth servicing with traditional air defence missiles. As a result, some new systems are being developed specifically for targeting small drones, with a recent Russian system claiming to be able to defend against swarms.
Your company is tasked with developing a system for providing cover against drones and drone swarms. The defence system should be mechanised in order to keep up with columns of vehicles (which are one of the most likely targets for drone attacks) and should provide hard kill options in addition to existing soft-kill (jamming, EM weapon) approaches. The system should be able to defeat 100 targets with wingspans of 20cm to 2m over the course of a minute, and should be able to do so even when the targets are moving at high subsonic speeds.
The system should have a range of at least 2km horizontally, with greater ranges being preferred. The system should work even where cloud cover and other weather effects are present. Ability to target and destroy UAVs with low-obserability characteristics would be preferred.

TsAGI: developing the concept of heavy transport aircraft on liquefied natural gas.
This plane is actually an ekranoplan (flgiht height is 5-12 meters above water/ice surface). Maximum weight that it can carry was calculated as up to 500 tons. Ekranoplan body double as a wing.

That rear charge has to punch through a whole lot of missile before it starts penetrating the target.

That was a very interesting read, I learned a lot I didn't know about the A57, and got a question about airflow with the different length intake tubing answered. I think they mentioned more ways the motors differed from their car cousin. Was there anything about the GM twin diesel in there?
The pics are all of an early A57 pre water pump and carb changes.
