Until some moment there were no T-90s in Ukraine. And such claims were not supported by evidence until 2017, IIRC when photos surfaced.

The women tank commander hero of DNR/LNR and top propaganda actor of DNR/LNR will spill the bins to a more concrete situation. It's funnier how everybody jumped on the bandwagon that "Ukraine lied about that", that happened every time, again and again.

I really hope it wasn't arson.

Notre Dame was still burning and french officials ruled out arson, even before the investigation of the fire started.

There was an Algerian arab woman under investigation who was arrested in front of Notre Dame with fuel canisters in her car.

After two days that she was arrested, Notre Dame started burning.

Second biggest and important church Saint-Sulpice accidentally started burning too.

St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Houilles statue of the Virgin Mary was found smashed, and the altar cross had been thrown on the ground.

February, at Saint-Alain Cathedral in Lavaur, in south-central France, an altar cloth was burned and crosses and statues of saints were smashed. The attack prompted Lavaur Mayor Bernard Canyon to say in a statement: “God will forgive. Not me.”

City of Nimes, near the Spanish border, vandals looted the altar of the church of Notre-Dame des Enfants and smeared a cross with human excrement.

It's just an accident, some alt-right conspiracies i tell you!

Proposed tank design has dual Kharkov engines at back, so a hit to one will not necessarily disable the other. But wow, 1500mm of space does wonders to CE.

I would wager that its a lot quicker to replace a motor (kept as a field spare) than to rewire/rehose a fighting compartment.   And probably cheaper too.

In the automotive world a car's wiring harness is a higher cost item than the engine, its probably the same in tanks also.  This is a 1960s tank, not a 1940s tank.

Planes pretty much too.I remember that Mig-21 had wiring made manual, plus it wasn't color coded, so people from the factory had to come with the original documents on the wiring to help in wiring matters on airfields.

I hadn’t realized the Russian were a whole year ahead of the US in proximity fused AA technology, considering the Moskva (1941 leader) has ZS-46R (as well as Tashkent 1942 and Kirov 1941)...

ZS-46R is from late 1950-x, it's a soviet time travelling round, not the first nor the last.

Not surprising, Soviet Union didn't need a proximity fuse they had to sort out other problems like missing naval radars, for ships, submarines which were given by UK.

There was a report about that round but it was about the last letter being wrong.

I got a ton of pushback on that, but I stand by what I said then. It's still my current position on the subject. The Fortress concept was a failure. It got an enormous amount of men killed. Efforts should have focused on speed, altitude, and evasion, not armament. The B-29 and virtually all subsequent bombers prove this.

I have seen only a pushback, that was only directed to the idea "many .50 bad", many didn't have a problem there with the focus on speed, altitude, evasion.

But making a B-29 from a B-17 is like removing the 37mm gun turret from a M3 Lee and name it M4, needs more than that and most important time.

How much would an B-17 win in altitude, speed without the defensive armament?

    (I stop here, very off-topic.)

I consider it one of my best works.

I should have said that i seek only the think related to the B-17 and it's machine guns vs speed.

It stuck in my head because the soviets tried the fast bomber approach before the ww2 and in/after it they pretty much put a lot of turrets and cannons compared to others on their bombers and even transport aircraft.

(I hold to this think because i rarely see some posts related to bombers and defensive armaments)

That is me, yes, and yes I died in a tragic boating accident over a year ago.

Nice trigger kung-fu, shoots like full auto.

Remember the "Overmatch: On Bullets, Bombers, and Taking the Right Path (Brief Thoughts 004)"? On that blog.

Any changes or consider it true to this day? (Very interesting to know)

Beginning early next month, X-rated sites like PornHub and YouPorn will be required to obtain birthday information from UK residents before they can view smut by using an online age verification system, or buying a special ID card

A bit off-topic think it will be interesting.Made a steam friend from Russia, play pc games with him sometimes.Surprise surprise he told me that they have same stuff for PornHub.They need to login trough VK(russian facebook) to get access to Pornhub. The worst part is, that the VK is tied to the phone number and the phone number to the passport(You can't get a sim card without showing your passport).Poor guy.

Already, this guy is being spun as "another right wing nutjob" and "this is why we need gun-control".

Just as he planned, at least on the 2A front.  Seems the folks pushing gun control are more than willfully illiterate, especially when it suits their agenda.

He is a leftist as they come, first became communist, then anarchist, libertarian and then finally an eco-fascist.Considers China the ideal government/state.

It's interesting that the news outlets, youtube, etc became NOW so "helpful" to the victims and started deleting his manifesto and other small bits about him considering how much fame was being rounded up for mass shooter before him.How hard they try to hush this pawn of the left.

Senator Fraser Anning made a great maiden speech.

To be fair in my humble opinion it is more fault of engine makers(Shitty kharkovite tractor engine, slow development of X Diesels and Turbines) and guys responsible for electronic development(FCS and computational technology )

Engines are engines, how is the transmission doing?

A powerpoint presentation in the post '91 mood, not primarily on space reactors but more on the dangers of the nuclear field.
