As much as I want to watch that, I just can push the button.

There were some guys at an engineering firm that I used to do part time consulting for that were heavy into this stuff. Most couldn't run up the the counter at McDonalds without having a heart attack, let alone take on professional soldiers. Loved how they all flipped their shit about the military exercises here last summer and started "going on patrols", which was pure fucking hilarity.

WTF is that???
I think that was a prototype tank destroyer from Agerntina on m9 half track chassis. 6 105 recoiless rifles.

I know many of these people. Laugh a minute.

You cannot stop the Grant
It'll buff out.

I've done it. Took a few tries to get it right. Done deer, pork, and beef. I bought that six tray dehydrator from Cabelas a few years ago, after that it was just a matter of screwing around with various spices.

Today I learned this on Facebook after calling the SS a joke and less than a mediocre fighting force.
"Utter nonsense. Allied and Soviet forces consistently sang their praises within the realms of combat. Some SS units were useless, but the originals was some of the finest fighting formations."
The Booage is strong this this one.

Ian Curtis in your avatar. Good man.

There was probably someone had never flown before in the cargo area. We used to mention it to the pilots when we had a nub so they would give them an "extra special" ride.

I've had it up to my eyeballs with everything putting so much focus on multiplayer.

I wonder why they placed the pod under the chin of the helicopter as opposed to the mast mounted type on the OH-58D. They could mask that helicopter pretty well and only expose that ball above the treeline. It was incredibly hard to see.

I saw pilots squeeze those little Kiowas into places that would amaze me every time they landed. I was on an OP once that had barely enough room for my humvee and a camo net. Pilot managed to set the thing down in between my truck and a grove a pine trees that seem to only a few inches of clearance for the rotors.
Crew 2 pilots Height 12 feet 10.6 inches Length 41 feet 2.4 inches Rotor diameter 35 feet Maximum gross weight 4,500 pounds (unarmed);
The data set for that little helicopter was pretty impressive for its time.
5,500 pounds (armed) Maximum airspeed 125 KIAS Cruise airspeed 80 KIAS Endurance 2 hours Cargo hook capacity 2,000 pounds Litter capacity 4 (externally) Troop-carrying capacity 6 (externally). Avionics- Data transfer system ground station, data transfer module, data transfer receptacle in the aircraft.

Hell, the OH-58D could provide close air and anti-armor support, had seriously good optics and communications, and could operate from a postage stamp in the woods.

Reloading the 2s5 looks like a serious workout.

We did shoot up our own APCs on occasion. Of the 270+ deployed, I think the AH64 is credited with ~2 enemy vehicle kills per helicopter in GW1.

Yes, it was 1st Squadron, 17th Cavalry Regiment flyover prior to retirement. I guess it broke some "bunch of helicopters flying around" record.
