Do @Dominus Dolorem and @A. T. Mahan need more time or are they just out?

There are two things I'd do if I were you. The first, is make some primary source contributions of your own, since that is what people like around here. The second is, be much, much more specific with your questions. You asked an extremely general question as your first post here, I'm not surprised nobody responded to you.

At a 48% armor fraction you're at like 145t.

Terry88 has been returned to the Roblox official forums after having gotten lost.
-
The problem with this as described is that every tank becomes a Sho't Kal Dalet.
-
@terry88 please explain to me why everyone born in 1988 is too retarded to keep stuff to one thread?

The armor formulas are considered accurate according to the reality in the universe. However, the formulas can be a little tricky to use, so it's a good idea to post your math for others to double-check. I'm getting, for example, ~300mm with a single HNERA layer at 70 degrees from vertical. HNERA is defined in the California solicitation. I omitted it from the Texas solicitation for reasons that aren't important right now.

No. Fitments are separate. I highly recommend doing the math as I showed, the judges will be checking your work that way. "Cheating" can only get you a worse grade (which I found out the hard way).

That's what I suspected. I would expect his tank to be lighter than Comanche for all the usual reasons, but not that much lighter with 2-3 times the armor!

I'm a little confused by this. Could you show your math? You're describing a tank that is 12t lighter than Comanche with almost triple the armor protection.

It would be a backup competition in case next year's competition runs into issues.
-
I'm thinking a "serious" tank (whatever that means) made out of like bits and bobs. Haven't thought much further than that. It would be set in the most "falloutish" period of the SHCU so it would be very mad max.
-
I had an idea for an improvised tank designed for much earlier in the SHCU setting (circa 2150s).
