  1. DPR T-72, tank was lost during summer of 2014. http://lostarmour.info/armour/item.php?id=4860
  2. Thats why i pointed at second photo, which shows that this is a wedge-like detail, similar to T-72/90 turret ERA layout/T-15 frontal armor.
  3. This game also could use a number of crazy field modifications of different vehicles like Ural with part of BMP-2 on it, Hilux with 2 23mm autocannons and Strela-10 with rocket pods for Su-25 instead of AA missiles. In this seting those vehicles would have made some sense, both gameplay and atmosphere.
  4. If we assume that gunner is in the left part of turret, and turret is facing rear, that means this hatch is for commander. It is interesting that this tank was painted recently, such a fresh green paint for a 80s/90s abandoned Soviet prototype tank. ;-)
  5. Look at tip of frontal armor on the second photo of the Molot, i think ERA was Kontakt-5 or similar.
  6. Drugs were easy and legal to buy durinh Pushkin/Tolstoy/Dostoevskiy times IIRC, and part of great russian writers were either smoking stuff or drinking alcohol. It is ok for artistic people, i guess, to be under drugs or vodka.
  7. One more photo of the Molot (afaik Object 490). Feels like those photos were made with help of workers of this place, where Khrakov prototypes were left after program was canceled.
  8. Those new photos of Soviet future MBTs, that left in Ukraine are leaked again and again! This time we have "Molot" prototype and schematics of the Molot's suspension. Turret is turned away from camera, what we see is turret rear. Note ERA on Molot (Hammer), this mean that Molot was designed later than Object 490A Buntar'. Look at driver's hatch, it is pretty well armored against top-attack weapons. Somebody can think that frontal part on T-14 is similar to Molot frontal armor, but it will be a mistake - Armata frontal armor layout is based on Object 299 and 195's.
  9. That Armata article was terrible. It made me feel actual pain for a moment.
  10. Tracks looks like T-34s tracks, did they build those props on tractors or actual T-34s?
  11. I don't fully understand UAE role and position in Yemen war. Is it because of SA or because of Iranian actions in the region?
  12. Thank to Walter's tank and afv news blog, picture from janes article on the Pereh:
  13. "But.. but i am head of suspension design team, Pavel Ivanovich!" Actually, one of them is real head of suspension designing group.
