Blue Origin's team (with a drastically improved lander) was selected to make the second HLS system which will first take people to the Moon on Artemis V after SpaceX's Starship does for Artemis III and IV.

It is noteworthy that both landers will require in orbit refueling with cryogenic propellants.

The zero hydrogen boiloff tech that Blue Origin has to develop for their lander will be very valuable to NASA.
