@Umbe_b Yes.

Looks like the StrykerX (now called the Stryker QB) will be returning to AUSA, but the AbramsX will not.
Edit: The Army Science Board released their final report on the 5th Generation Combat Vehicle recently, which features a clear, crisp image (finally) of one of the OMT designs. It 404s when linking but is available on their site.

According to Nick Moran on tanknet, who had the chance to watch the actual conference video, the caption reads "M1E3-NG MBT".
However, there is also an asterisk at the bottom of the slide, introducing the following warning: "Digital designs not representative of prototype vehicles".

Turret looks narrower (unmanned + Trophy sponsons?), but I'd digest CADs like this (viewed at an angle, to boot) with a healthy dose of salt.
Holy crap. I've been trying to put a name and specific role on that black cylinder for ages.

Very hard to tell from the image quality, but the hull looks unchanged.
Also from Linkedin, what looks to be an M10 with ERA among other things

I agree with his point that Abrams X didn't cause this decision. However I suspect GDLS knew this decision was in the making and that's why they made the Abrams X. It seems far too convenient that it checks a lot of the boxes the army was looking for.
I don't think the M1A3 will be Abrams X but I think many of the features will jump over and I wouldn't be surprised if the base turret is used in some form. How does this work though - will other firms bid on this or does it just go to GDLS as the abrams design owner?

M1A2 SEPv4 canned in favour of M1A3 (type-classified M1E3). Sounds a like AbramsX in some areas.

ATAC System Demonstrator also know as Thumper, to receive the 140mm gun tube and a functional rearm port, 1992.
Warren Jones, right, project officer for the U.S. Army, instructs Oak Ridge National Laboratory staff on how an M1 Abrams tank operates in September 1992. From left are Dong-Soo Kwon, Carol Scott, Sam Meacham, Jim Hannah, and Katie Vandergriff.
Katie Vandergriff and Jim Hannah helped develop the ATAC System Demonstrator's rearm port, they also developed the Future Armor Rearm System (FARS).
Compared to it's first appearance (1988), Thumper received weight simulators in the turret, they also changed the mudguards? Or the turret was assembled on another M1A1 chassis. The XM291 gun got removed from the turret to change the gun tube, from the 120mm L/56 (6.75m) gun tube, to the 140mm L/48 (6.75m) gun tube to test the FARS with the new two-piece ATAC 140-mm ammunition.
The ATAC System Demonstrator and the FARS are sitting together at Sierra Army Depot.

A couple more pictures of AbramsX, from GDLS' account:
And from Rheinmetall's website, their XM30 Lynx offering:
