rubber track
So the MGCS is targeting a weight of around 40 tons? That seems to be the limit for rubber band track.

BAE is out of NGCV:
Not very surprising, the CV-90 wasn't a strong bid compared to the other players.

It is obvious that this system isnt designed for rapid rate of fire
If only we had a best in class system that was already designed and mostly ready for production

When was the picture taken?
The picture is from a company called Modeled horizons. They do a lot of work for defense contractors, especially BAE Systems. On their site, they refer to it as "CAT" but I couldn't find any more info than that.

Some sort of SHORAD(?) variant on the XM1200 FCS chassis. Any more info would be appreciated

US is listed as a potential export partner. Looks like the AS-21 is competing for NGCV then?

Australia has revived their Self-Propelled Artillery program:
Favorite seems to be the K-9, but maybe recent wins for Rheinmetall could give the PZH-2000 a chance?

Boeing is insisting the V-280 is a mature product that should be taken seriously
I think it's Textron doing the V-280, Boeing is offering the SB-1.

Boeing/SAIC again?
Personally I don't think they'd be up for another rodeo. They lost big with MPF and ACV, and the Amtrac upgrade got canned before it begun. Maybe Textron? They've got the facilities to build armored vehicles, but it would be a stretch.

Puma would be a good fit for OMFV but I'm not sure who they'd partner with to make it acceptable to the army.

Interesting document about armored vehicles proposed for South America by Germany. Any Portuguese readers in?

MBT development program in which the timetable defines operational capability in 2025 or earlier. For Israel it could be 2027-2030
What is Israel developing? I was under the assumption that the Camel was going to be a lighter vehicle similar to the FCS, and the Merkava Mk.4 was going to stay in service for the foreseeable future.

Hungary is (supposedly) considering a buy of several hundred Pumas.

As a heads up the image you posted isn't displaying. Apparently defence-blog doesn't let people embed their images elsewhere.

Is there any good info on the Turkish Leclerc project? I've only been able to find an image of it.

That's an interesting design choice for the 50 cal placement.

So is it the V3 or V4 that's getting the new armor package?

Ah, that old story. "It's always a conspiracy if my favorite tank isn't perfect."
Considering that they didn't even test the Ariete I think he's right.

Greece is (supposedly) selling off some of their Leopard 2A4s and Cyprus is interested:
