I would argue that the Breda 30 is worse based on what I have seen and read. I have seen one in action, and it was comical. It was as if the gun was designed to piss off the operator in every possible way. While I didn't fire it, even the owner was laughing about how terrible it is. When it fired it sprayed the owner with oil too, and his shooting glasses made it look like he took a damn paintball to the face. But also I do in fact give the Chauchat some points for simply being there early, and in massive quantities. Although it is strange that the French would not have looked at guns like the Madsen and thought "hey, that might be the way to go".

Finally, Ian debunks some of the crap that people parrot about the Chauchat: https://www.full30.com/video/5933a44c278a66269fcdf19cde11261c

So Nathaniel has pissed off 52,000 Kel-Tec fanboys (which is apparently a thing): Also, the most frustrating thing about youtube is that if I sit on camera and just talk about nonsense, it gets exponentially more views than a well done, labor intensive video like the FNC one. The "Guns We Don't Like" launched few days back and its views in realtime are still greater than the FNC video from yesterday. I have no idea why this is (and it isn't the presence of special guests, as it happens for every commentary video):

I am 6'4" tall (1.94 meters) so my center of gravity is high as hell. Also I weigh in at 175 pounds (79 kg) so I don't have any mass to absorb much recoil. I do believe Meplat is right in that it is an experience thing

Mine weighs 8 pounds even, but I did cut a bit of the barrel off. But yes, I don't know what the deal is with Miles. He was an 03 field infantry Marine who has seen some pretty heavy shit so I guess I assumed he would acclimate to whatever we shot. While he doesn't seem to be able to handle full auto well, he is a very good shot.

Finally got around to filming my FNC in action. My favorite assault rifle! It even got the honorary Sturgeon nod of approval when he was at my shop a while back.

Most police officers I have talked to say that if the gun used in crime is a nice gun, it's stolen.

So apparently the Japanese Type 96 and 99 MGs were the best of WWII: https://www.full30.com/video/de1682ce962939c2090a155043f0db0b I disagree, especially since he provides several reasons in the video as to why they suck.

Generally the late 350 turd gens were a bit faster from the factory than the mass air foxes (even Ford admits that the speed density cars ran faster and harder), but it took next to nothing to get a fox to kill them at the strip. Torque boxes aside, the fox chassis is incredible. Light weight, factory 4 link, forged pistons, easy to work on, and years of R&D still make them a force to be reckoned with. Shame that it seems like all the good 87-93 cars have been raced to death.

The GTO was bought at auction and has the factory correct quadrajet on it. It is just a nice restoration. We are not much into restomods or deviating too much from period correctness (with some exceptions). But yes, the GSX Stage 1s have the same engine. But even GM guys have to concede that the fox cars dominated the GM stuff. It wasn't until the LS1s got put into the fbody cars that GM started to be taken seriously again. Since the Mustang and Camaro have existed, the whole "which one is better" seems to have flipped every few years, lol.

The primary users of Utes (pronounced "youts") seemed to be tradesmen. They would put tool chests in the back, like we do with trucks, full of plumbing equipment, electrician's tools, gardening and lawn maintenance stuff, etc. And then of course a large section of Ute drivers are hot rodders.
