Nothing much, i can't read them either.
Radar on 195 was known to be used for FCS for a long time. Tank had radar station on top of turret mantlet and radioantenna next to it for programmable HE-frag.
I got a higher resolution version pf the same picture:
https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/553364479929483274/922659486508908604/file.pngNevertheless, indeed it was suspected for a long time that the radar there was to be used offensively but IIRC we never got any kind of substantial confirmation of that capability. If this was true then it makes or the more likely that the T-14 inherited something similar.

Object 195 pic from Paralay with sights marked
It appeara that 195 had 3 sights placed in turret and 1 axul. on hull UFP. Out of 3 turret sights, 1 was TV, 2nd was Thermal imager (each on either side of the turret). 3rd was mounted in top of the turret, near radar station, acted as panoramic sight. A bit unusual layout of sights on this thing with 2 different gunner sights on both sides of the turret.
What does it say about the radar? The letters are too small to read. Is it considered part of the FCS, as was speculated for a long time? What´s the source of the picture?

So, this showed up at Zuhai a couple of days ago, part of a video being watched by J-20 Chief Engineer and featuring other stuff as well.

First time i spot this "secondary ammo hatch". What is it used for?

seems that T-90M turret is simply worse than T-90A in every bit in terms of protection, LOS is much lesser(due to angle of frontal modules is now 39 instead of 51 with same physical thickness of module), turret roof incline is again 78 deg instead of T-90A 84 etc...
Most likely its compensated by increased impact angle on the ´reflective places´, which increases their efficiency. And that is assuming that the armor array is the same as back in 1985.

GF are going to get 65 T-90Ms this year in total.
That would make for a total of how many T-90Ms so far?

At this point the reveal is completly spoiled so...

I´m just confused with the amount of IFVs that came out of Turkey. Remember the Tulpar?

Ok its not a MiG but a Sukhoi.
Su-75 apparently. That designation makes sense as it plays with Su-57.

Never thought I’d be on international news because someone got mad at me and wanted to prove a point.
He did prove you wrong though. Victory at any cost.

The air intake seems to run from the "chin" up to including the "cheeks"

Sukhoi is the only game in town if this budget cut gen 5 for export is any good. ,Mig can close down its Mig 35 /29 operation
Sukhoi and Mig are no longer separate companies, rather separate design teams under the UAC. Mig has access to Sukhoi´s research and installations and vice versa. If this plane is any good and is offered at a good price it will do very well in the export market as its only competitor is the F-35.

Depends on how many stuff it borrows from Su-57. For example, if its meant to share the same Izdelie 30 engine, then a big chunk of development work will be finalized before this Mig comes off production lines.

1st US ABCT stationed in Poland.
AFAIK currently there is only one Stryker Brigade stationed in Europe. Or are there any plans to deploy an armored brigade there as well?
-
Poland is like a kid on a toy store wanting to buy everything on sale. Next thing is gonna be a Cr2 just to complete the Western Tank Fanboy Collection, practicality be damned.
Seriously, Abrams pretty much has zero commonality with Poland´s existing Leo 2 fleet. SEPv3 has an ADL which Leo 2 doesn´t feature, so those tanks may not even have ammunition commonality. I gotta wonder the point of this contract if Poland could have upgraded their Leopards to SEPv3-like levels by themselves or via de Germans. I guess this also means that the K2PL might be dead. -

Looks very sexy with those fuel drums. Any new info that we didn´t know about?

Hello,
for some time I have been looking for information about the protection, transmission and the ZTZ99A engine, but, unfortunately, I have just started learning Chinese, so it is rather difficult for me to search for information in Chinese sources.
As far as I could understand, the engine-transmission part of the ZTZ99A consists, in fact, of two components: the 150HB-2 engine and the CH-1000 transmission unit?
For example, the question of the number of forward and reverse gears, as well as the maximum reverse speed, is still not clear? In particular, I found references to the presence of 3 (?) Reverse gears?
I have also come across some statements that the maximum speed when reversing can be in the range of 20-40 + km / h (40+ looks somewhat doubtful, but at 30 on R2 I am ready to believe)
Also, the operating modes remain unclear, at the moment, I assume that R provides a "safe" reverse gear for transportation (about 5-7 km / h, while R2 connection gives a "full" speed)
Or about a scheme similar to the Leopard, since, as far as I understand, when developing ZTZ99A, Chinese engineers looked at German MTU engines?Where did you get that second image from?

IMHO, the updated MCT-30 was far and away the most attractive solution both aesthetically and in silhouette (the CMI and Rafael turrets are so tall!). Either Rafael has some really amazing tech promises or they went really aggressive with pricing.
Updated MCT-30 in the spoiler below for reference
Well it doesn´t look like an (ugly) skyscraper, so thats a plus.

So this showed up today
First glance, seems like a modified hull with extra periscopes which would be the case if the crew was to be taken out of the turret and into the hull. But on the other hand, the shape of the turret seems to be the same classic Abrams pre SEPv3.
