  1. Looking sharp ,i wonder if the added weight degraded its mobility . Old BRDM is extremely mobile ,i remember when Slovenian military trialed Patria AMV and Styer Pandur II  8x8 in off road mobility trials and BRDM was set as benchmark it easily smoked them and armored Humvee as well.

I really would like to know what's going on with the two IRST systems. Did they go for a long-wave *and* a mid-wave sensor?

Likely just two diffrerent systems sort of  EOTS  and separate IRST  , no need to drag a Sniper pod if you have that capabilty buit in.

Rafale has both side by side , as do some chinese pods  for fighters.

  3. Although this looks like civilian one , it looks like there are add on armor panels on front doors , folding rotors also hint towards shipborne use

    Again new composite fuselage

Figures presented at MAKS indicate that that maximum speed rose to 134kt (250km/h), up from 118kt; range grew to 302nm (560km), from 260nm; while payload for the 3.6t helicopter grew to 1,000kg (2,204lb), up from 785kg.

  4. Seems like there is some new developments with helos as well

Mil 171 'Gazprom' looks like completely new machine combining new fuselage with Mil28 power train and rotor system. Will it also end up as cheap alternative to Mil 38 for the military?

Considering how smooth it is i gather its mostly composite  construction which should also saved some weight

  5. They actually announced that they already have a foreign launch customer since the start of the development !?

Most important take is probably this is supposedly developed like USAF suggested for E-series , wholly digitally developed and tested prior to making a prototype shortening the development time considerably.

    English language presentation.

More like X-32ski, if current rumours are true.

Picts unrelated to actual craft , in any case no 5gen project in the world follows F35 or X-35 for good reason as first of these are designed to peculiar specification for a medium altitude medium speed bomb truck that has to also be made to serve in 3 widely differing configurations while using same fat air frame and massive engine to make VTOL work.  Every one else is developing a fighter with some ground attack capability and no Vtol configuration. So current designs Chinese, Korean,Japanese,Brit are far more along the lines of F22 than anything else . If this is using same engine as Su57 this is be the smallest and lightest of the  5th gen offerings much smaller than f35

the X-32 chin inlet is quite specific to the positioning of the engine right behind the pilot due to harrier like Vtol configuration , if Russian model has a chin intake you can bet 100% its for different reasons .Looking at the actual picts not the unrelated fan renders or model photos it doesn't seem to have an x-32 like intake. it also looks like it doesn't have any horizontal tail (altough these could be just unmounted to further confuse the observers)

Design configuration seems quite unique .

Poland is like a kid on a toy store wanting to buy everything on sale. Next thing is gonna be a Cr2 just to complete the Western Tank Fanboy Collection, practicality be damned.

Seriously, Abrams pretty much has zero commonality with Poland´s existing Leo 2 fleet. SEPv3 has an ADL which Leo 2 doesn´t feature, so those tanks may not even have ammunition commonality. I gotta wonder the point of this contract if Poland could have upgraded their Leopards to SEPv3-like levels by themselves or via de Germans. I guess this also means that the K2PL might be dead.

Its just about politicians sucking up to US while Germany and EU pays for their toys. EU funds literally provide 4% of their GDP , so splashing 2% on defense is no big deal.

They get more funds than would be todays value of Marshall plan for whole of post ww2 Europe , alocated every 4 years. Other big euro spenders on arms are similarly heavily subsidised Hungarians and Romanians .

  8. So after 17mio Eur inital price and 6.5mio eur Upgrade and some anexes Puma will be 25mio eur a pop

OCCAR seems co be clever way to push half dead over the budget euro systems around to get them built with joint financing, as for Slovenia , same Goverment crew that took Patria bribes is now all too eager to go for Boxer right after huge COVID debt burden to national finances, wonder what kind of backroom deals are availible at OCCAR ....................at minimum i expect they offer bunch of well paid no show jobs for ''buyers''.

  9. It seems some testing for stealthier nozzles for flying wing ither C-70 Okhotnik UAV or some other project like Pak DA bomber

Looks kinda long setup for C-70

Update It seems its not a nozzle for the UAV but so something supersonic

Tests under the project "Supersonic Civil Aircraft" (code "SDS / SPS") on the plane - flying laboratory Il-76LL.
