Belesarius
Apparently the Ka-35 AEW Helo has passed all acceptance tests and is ready for service. http://tass.ru/en/russia/816315
Collimatrix
I wonder if anyone would be interested in buying this bird. Perhaps Chile? They were shopping for AEW a while back, and they have a lot of area to cover.
Belesarius
Who operates carriers or large assault ships and doesn't have AEW coverage?
Collimatrix
Brazil has an aircraft carrier that sort of works, and no native AEW IIRC. Maybe India?
LostCosmonaut
India would seem the most logical customer, given that they've got quite a history of using Soviet/Russian equipment. I'd be a bit surprised if Chile or Brazil got any, I don't believe they have any history of using Russian equipment (I do think there are a few countries down there that do, though). Although, to be honest, I'm not sure if there's any comparable US products around. Did they ever make an AEW variant of the Blackhawk, or is America just using E-2s for that? (let's not talk about the USAF EW situation)
