    I wouldn't be surprised if the Russians and Americans struck a deal about ensuring YPG gains, at least in the short run. Russians in Afrin and Americans in Eastern Rojava are a good deterrent towards Turkish aggression, if they aren't just being used as a staging ground for attacks around Idlib and Raqqa.

    What's up with the handprints on the barrel? Seeing how this is based off the T-90 and not the M47 Patton or FV101, I can see the Iranians wanting to actually produce this in limited numbers. Maybe they'd give them to an IRGC armored unit to parade around in, kinda like the Zulfiqar.

    During the Iran-Iraq War, Iranian pilots were distrusted by the theocrats in Tehran as most of them were holdovers from the Shah's reign and Iranian fighter aces were never recognized during the war and many were jailed after the war for various reasons. Often Tomcat and Phantom kills were credited towards IRGC anti-air units which the regime wanted to promote. Iraq had no aces in its air force(it had a couple of 4-kill pilots), but Iraqi pilots were like most pilots/tankers/snipers/etc and greatly exaggerated their exploits for propaganda purposes towards the Iraqi populace and towards the international community to show Iraq doesn't suck as much as it actually did.

    If Turkey's performance in Syria up to this point is any indication of their capabilities, they are going to get smacked by the SDF and I also am seeing reports that they are clashing with the SAA around Manbij too.

    Really looks promising that the Iraqis are pushing into Mosul, SAA is retaking Palmyra and Al bab, and the YPG/SDF putting pressure onto Raqqa itself. Hoepfully nobody(looking at Turkey) fucks everything up.
