And people wonder "why don't people trust the infallible media anymore! Why is it so hard to agree on facts!"
Idiots.

Yea I wanted to put edit in quotes there because it really isn't besides the visual effect.

I'm really upset I couldn't have been there. I was studying for a test for the following day.
I was at work, but I had the metokurs stream running my whole shift.

So, after a year of pushback and numerous lost elections, the left gets one win and declares complete victory over Trump? I would imagine that they are trying to spin this to say that Trump has lost the mandate of heaven and lost all of his supporters.
God Emperor Trump must reclaim the Heaven's Will by sweeping through the Middle Kingdom this week.

Democrats handed golden opportunity, respond by owning selves. Nothing ever changes.
Turns out basing your midterm election on presidential election conspiracy theories and maintaining a fever pitch hysteria for 2 years is a shitty plan. I'd be surprised if the DNC wasn't a fucking shitshow.

I live off of 87, ~20 minutes the other direction. Nuts that something like this happened so close. Apparently nearly half the dead were children and this had to do with him targeting his fucking mother in law. As much as I want to be relieved that it wasn't racially motivated and that I won't see riots around me, I just can't with the level of inhumanity in that act.

Price you pay for living in an at-will employment state. Also very fucking dumb to use it as your profile picture on FB. She's also in the fucking marketing department.
What is it about marketing that attracts retards?

In the meanwhile, CNN and other leftist websites lose their shit over Trump feeding koi.
My favorite thing about this is how much of it was made up and manipulated.

It gets rid of the tax credit for paying interest on student loans, which pisses me off (and is also bad for people with a lot of loan debt in general).
This one has to be a bargaining chip. It's a pretty bad idea. "Hey you, paying off your loan, get fucked."

At any rate, this indictment is pretty weak sauce, particularly if #NEVERTRUmP and #Resistance thinks that by indicting a GOP establishment guy like manafort is going to matter a whit.
It's practically masturbation on my fb feed...

Every late night host, and talking head on all the dying legacy media were spewing all the same BS about the SHARE act today, I think it's toast, and hopefully only the makers of the stupid bump stocks are the only damage.
If you really want a machine gun, do the paperwork, pay the money and move to a county they allow it, and just buy one. Though, if this clown had done all the paperwork and gotten a legal MG things would really be dire.
People who watch television at this point are clowns. Evidenced how the ratings battle in late night tv is marked by out pontificating each other on the evils of Fuhrer Donaldric Drumpf.

Since we've all already established that most people fall into one of 2 camps on Trump; everything he does is evil or he's making America great again. Is there honestly a reason for him (or anyone) to care about what he tweets? Bad optics? What a joke. It doesn't matter what he says or tweets, it'll always be perceived as "bad optics" on the left and the media is going to ride that dick raw. He gets his power from shitting on people like that mayor and letting the media hyperventilate all over the place with their "hot takes". The brutal reality is that perception of his tweets is entirely irrelevant, much like his tweets themselves. I can't even bring myself to consider social media statements by anyone seriously anymore. It's all a farce, no matter who is doing it.

On the topic of closet sexists and racists in the left I think it might be some sort of sociopathy. A strategy of "they'll never assume I'm disgusting if I virtue signal hard enough!" and "Don't look at me, these guys are the problem!". Amusingly, as time has gone on, a lot of the biggest virtue signalers who fought gamergate ended up being accused of the things they decried.
I'm on mobile now so that's the best article I can get but you get the point. "The progressive doth protest too much."
On Weiner, I had long heard that Huma was quite....close with Hillary. Innuendo intended and that Anthony was a political marriage. The speculation that I saw revolved partially around the legal out of being able to decline to testify against a spouse. There's a lot more too it than that simple remembrance but I find the idea amusing.

You have to give him some props for at least being ideologically consistent.

You know, I find that really heartwarming. I'm so inherently biased against Trump I didn't even consider that as an option. Feels good man.
You spent time so much looking at the fake news in others....that you didn't see the fake news in yourself.

I'm just waiting for us to declare war on the EU too since they rigged our election by saying they don't like Trump.
Certainly the British parliament having a conniption fit about banning Trump from entering their country was not an attempt to virtue signal to Americans and shame voting for him!

Back in the old country, I had to mow the lawn with a scythe. I wonder how quickly these people would kill themselves with that.
"Old country"
I had to use a machete and lawn scythe on a lot we had when I was younger until my dad got me a walk behind string trimmer for a birthday.

Water, truly the wonder substance.

They can't even figure out that Trump isn't a dictator, much less such complexities as "not everyone is a bay area super progressive".
I don't think the zeitgeist in the left that's holding it back right now is sufficiently damaged for a resurgence similar to the Republicans after they were crushed politically and socially in the 2000s. Things probably will only get worse for them.

So Trump says he will shut down the government if Congress doesn't fund the wall? I thought the Mexicans were going to pay for it. Huh.
I thought the idea was always that Congress would technically pay for it while offsetting the cost with something like putting a fee on money transfers to Mexico from the US.
