    I've been getting angry every time I open Steam this weekend.

    The Greenland colony really just petered out after ~500 years. Folks just filtered back east after a while. The more interesting thing now is the smoked bog iron found in Newfoundland (native tribes in the area did not have knowledge of this). Looks like there could have been a second colony at Point Rosee around the same time as L'anse aux Meadows. Kind of lending more credence to Vinland that was mentioned in the sagas.

    News this morning has the truck driver as a Pakistani national that migrated to Germany sometime late last year or early this year.

    The Churn novella really gets in some of Amos' backstory. Good stuff, even though its relatively quick. .

    I did expect Amos to be a little taller and more gruff looking. Some reason I had an image of a turn of the 19th/20th century dock worker.

    I was pretty impressed with the how close they got the cast. For the most part they match the mental images I had created of them. Babylons Ashes in on the way to my house right now. (yes, I'm a Luddite when it comes to books, still like turning pages). If you haven't already, I'd suggest picking up the novellas that take place slightly before Leviathan Wakes and in between the other books of the series.

    3-66 Armor 2AD Foward, West Germany, 1988. M981 FIST-V to left rear of the tank. It was next to impossible to keep up with the tanks in that thing. Especially in the mud.
