If that was like the merkava you'd have a very short spring - it seems to hide entirely behind the road wheel. IMO thing #1 is a damper, and #2 is a bump stop in an odd place (acting on the swingarm connected to the damper, which probably made sense when they designed the thing)

I look forward to the counter-counter assault rifles to counter this counter assault rifle, perhaps it would be some kind of modernised mosin nagant. Also, according to the manufacturer they include 100 rounds of greek 30.06 in the $4.7k package - now that's good value!* *per firearm blog interview with designer of weapon, weapon is not guaranteed to work with cheap ammunition.

Depending on what's in the turret basket, there shouldn't be any issue with that in armata - the crew seats are right next to the basket after all.- 5,219 replies

If we add charons mass to pluto we won't need to argue about whether pluto should be a planet, because dust clouds can't be planets

So the body of the aircraft becomes one huge-ass wing fence? I'm still not sure if I understand the idea behind it helping improve the ratio of chord to height - surely wing area (and so wetted surface) would be constant? Sure, the chord decreases (measured normal to the leading edge), but the length increases by the same amount so I don't see why it's different to a straight wing with the same chord measured along the airflow. I do know a guy who's meant to know a lot about this kind of stuff though, so I will talk to him and get back to you.

Sponsons are inefficient, I dislike them. It could kinda work for an IFV, but not something with a hull as low as an MBT

Er, 9.75% for P(a or b`). P(a and b`) = 0.25%, so P(a xor b`) = 9.5%. (` added to stop it turning into an emoticon) I recall reading an article a while back that claimed teenage pregnancy was linked to average life expectancy, but I suspect it's stuck behind the new scientist paywall -
Second film made it - the fight scenes were contrived to the point of ridiculousness, and the bit with the gold defied all logic. The third film makes the fellowship of the ring make no sense at all either, although I'll grant that the first was okish
