that´s my point too,esspecially the IS-2,because i am sure it saw combat in WWII.

i remember a very powerfull pic where an old russian tank veteran saw an IS-2 monument and after inspecting it further he kneeled down and started crying, because he realized it was his tank during WWII.

My guess it's the first batch of 250 vehicles

Because 1000 vehicles for 3.5 billion $ would be quiet cheap. We have to wait a bit more untill more information are available. 

I have also read that just first 40 vehicles will have MTU engine/Renk transmission

And after that ingenious engine transmission

Here again we have to wait and see

it says BMC won the contract because they wanted 4 billion dollars while Otokar wanted 7 billion dollars. while they were negotiating the contract Erdo bargained another 500 million dollar cheaper!

^^imo a very nice looking vehicle, which i htink somehow show South African influence!

what are they going to do  with the BMP-3 hulls? as far as i know the turrets will be put on the Rabdan.

they should at least use them for sth similar to Sprut like putting Cockerill turrets 105/120 mm and bam you have a very potent light/medium tank 

The Hungarians also purchased some turkish vehicles (how many i don´t know?)
