I think this is an interesting excerpt - that'd be damn useful in a dogfight, and dispatching them with an ASRAAM once you're in dogfighting range ought to fit any sensible ROE
-
As pointed out earlier, if you are intending to zap them with long range AA missiles from a distance, why isn't F-35 just a B-2 with loads of AA missiles? With the way ROE are going dogfighting is far from dead

A better pic: It's a shame that the HE doesn't have conventional fusing and airburst in the same package

It's weird how easily people can acclimatize to weather - I've had temps of 27 C (80 F), and ~60% humidity, and I almost died, while it sounds like par for the course in much of USA.

Don't chemical fuses get really really sensitive as they age? Best not drop grandad's old gun, it might still be loaded...

New system build
Xlucine replied to Jeeps_Guns_Tanks's topic in Computers, Software, and Tech Support
I was going to say that's entirely expected, but then I saw the GTX. Admittedly stock skyrim is fairly easy to run, recommended settings for a 750ti at 1080p involve running it at 1440p and downscaling it -

ASrock should be good, since AMD use it in the quantum prototype -
Food and Putting it in Our Faces
Xlucine replied to Brick Fight's topic in History, Culture, and Archaeology
My personal crusade is non-meat doner kebabs - it's the best application for meat substitutes, since the texture isn't like meat anyway, and you're relying on the seasonings for taste. They should exist, but they don't -
The words they are using do not mean what they thing they mean Also, I'm pleased by the name of the USS Ponce

They say a release date of around autumn, so it won't have zen - the quantum 2 (quantum X? quantum fury?) next year with zen & die shrunk & embiggened fiji will be a magnificent thing

The development mule has a LGA1150 processor, but the release system is bound to be AMD to the core - the AMD branded RAM and SSD's finally make sense

Uuh, I think AMD was listening https://www.techpowerup.com/213512/amd-announces-project-quantum.html Weird looking thing, I think the top section is a radiator. I wonder what CPU it has? I can't see it selling well, but I want it to sell well - if I was in the market for a new high end rig I'd like to buy it
