Was the Kronach Lorin coal-powered ramjet engine a viable concept ?
I mean, just heating some pelletized coal in a pierced basket would have been sufficient to produce a coherent thrust ?

Now that its protection level has been finally revealed, I'm curious about the Osório.

What a strange idea to re-use the designation of an old APFSDS from the 1970s.

Does the M325 HEAT-MP-T has pop-out fins ?

One thing I know, with absolute certainty, is that this is not correct.

How does Israeli steel compare to Soviet, US or German steel?
All Merkava models are made of rolled armor plates produced by Creusot-Loire Industrie (now Industeel).
QuoteThe XM735E2 APFSDS round (entered production as M735) could defeat the NATO heavy triple target at 2,000 meters.
What about the M735 versus the NATO Heavy Single target ?
QuoteSpiraling flight pattern is common on all types of SACLOS missiles, even wire-guided systems like Milan and HOT. It really depends on the exact pattern, shape and size of missile to identify Kornet by the pattern alone.
The Kornet can also be recognized by its lack of visible tail flare and its rather smooth in-flight trajectory.

What is the difference between the V-46 (T-72 Ural) and the V-46-6 (T-72A) engine ?
There was a good explanation on the now-defunct Kampfpanzer.de website (Stefan Liess).

Does anyone know if it is possible to find the 1954-1965 back issues of the ARMOR magazine online ?

It's likely a Block III on the two lower pictures.

I guess they retained the stowage space on the right side of the driver, putting the 15 rounds on his left.

30+30mm ? at lower angle ? doubt
30mm of base front is more than enough, side armour addons don't know how thick
AFAIK, the front armor is 50 mm thick.
