    The lower side armor was vulnerable, the additional armor didn't go down to that point and that's like under 10 mm. The BMP-1/2 still remained as a basic, "Afghan" D isn't something which comes by default to BMP, compared to the added armor on the Bradley. And then stuff like SLAP appeared for the M2, which also adds some other problems as the M2 starts penetrating as a 14,5.

    That truck shouldn't even be considered a hinder of any sorts, even considering the supply chain. Glonass-K balancing between cancelling and further production IMHO is a bigger problem than a truck.

    That's crazy fast, the same number of crew and a crane can change a power pack on a M60 in around 30-75 minutes, under 30 minutes if the crew want to do the job really fast.

    Wasn't that just because they switched to more available ammo and then it became within a few joules to the later StG-44? As in originally being designed with a cartridge which had a higher muzzle energy.

    So what's the weight of these both systems, say again? I do really want to see first, before everything else an Fagot ATGM in which the M47 is in it's territory considering the weight of the system. Ironically no matter how many ATGMs you will compare by just the missile without the launch tube the total weight of the system remains something completely different, surprisingly. Yes operating by night is truly a fun territory, considering when comparable ATGMs received this kind of sight. What's with this selective reading indeed.

    What are you on about? Metis with the launching unit is 17 kg (25 kg for Metis-M). Dragon-2 with the launching unit is 15 kg. The Fagot and Konkurs launching unit alone was 22 kg.

    Aren't the turrets just wide, because of the side armor on the turrets.From the front they may seem wide but the extremities of a turret is just the side armor, no internals at all. So in situation where an Abrams will be hit in the turret side extremities, the crew would not be harmed at all in the case of an T-14 it will be a miss. The visibility of the turret in hull down position is the same really. The winning points for the T-14 is the fact that in cases where a turret is hit it will only have to deal with the damaged hardware of the tank not causalities and hardware. Plus, turret down position with a commanders sight like on a T-14, where just the sight and the machine gun is seen and also no blind zones at all is considered to be characteristics of the chosen one. Not forgetting also the delicious weight savings for not having to deal with armor on a turret for the crew.

    It's just for confirmation, because somebody above already is a bit wrong because T-90 tanks were already spotted by like august 2016(the date the video was released) and if we believe the people who filmed them, they say it's filmed in 2014.

    That's interesting. Why wasn't the turning point when russian soldiers invaded Crimea and parts of Ukraine under the letter that Yanukovych asked Putin to send troops there.Later, no surprise that the letter which was presented at U.N by Churkin was a fake and after that Churkin died and Kremlin now denies they got any kind of letter/statement.
