LoooSeR
Quote MOSCOW, October 11. /TASS/. Russian specialists have created a high-speed unmanned aerial vehicle "Tubus", launched from a portable installation, to destroy enemy armored vehicles and artillery deep in the front. A source in the military-industrial complex reported this to TASS. "Tubus" is designed to destroy armored vehicles and artillery. The flight speed of the device is 250-300 km/h. There are no analogues in Russia now, other drones fly at a speed of 100-150 km/h, respectively, they are visible and easier to shoot down with small arms. The "Tubus" reaches its target quickly, and it is very difficult to shoot it down. Flight range - 30-40 km. Accordingly, he will be able to effectively fight enemy artillery in the depths of the front, which is the biggest problem now,” the TASS interlocutor emphasized. The weight of the device is 10 kg, the weight of the launcher is 5 kg. “Let’s put it this way, people are happy with this. Similar grenade launchers weigh about the same. The product is portable. I fired it, threw it away and forgot about it,” the source noted. According to him, “Tubus” has successfully passed internal tests, and in the future it is planned to use it in a special operation zone. “In two months, official tests will take place in the SMO zone,” the TASS source said. LoooSeR
Quote During the flight, which lasted more than 12 hours, the hybrid UAV ZALA 421-16E5G covered a distance of more than 1,130 kilometers. During the flight, the technique of simultaneous use of the device by two flight squads with a new high-speed communication, control and relay system implemented at over-the-horizon control points located in different regions of the Russian Federation was tested. The implementation of such a system, where the complex operators are located at a distance of up to 500 kilometers from the launch site, reduces the consumption of device resources, minimizes the human factor and optimizes the staff of operating units. Placard also shows that UAV can process some data with AI (i guess target recognition using NN-based AI), have hybrid engine, 3 level nav system (not sure what it means) different recon payloads (camera, thermal imager, LIDAR), video data can be transmitted to 100+ km range and videofeed can be transmitted with repeaters. Speaking about target recognition, current Zala UAVs (recon and kamikaze models) already use AI system to do that.

Quote The launch of the Fateh loitering ammunition, at least the Iranian media reported that there were launches of the Sina and Fateh loitering ammunition. Previously, this kamikaze drone was known as Zhoobin, perhaps the name was changed after some modification, or simply these are different names for variations of drones for the Navy and ground forces in this case. LoooSeR
Soviet Krylo UAV system. Quote Complex called “PERO WITH MSBR WING”, so the complex cannot find accurate information. Background A regiment of front-line reconnaissance UAVs was withdrawn from Lithuania in June 1993 to the village of Vyazniki, Vladimir province. The regiment was also armed with the "REIS" complex, also known as Tu-143 One of the sources says that this drone (Krylo) managed to take part in the war in Afghanistan, had a combat radius of 90 km, a height of 1000 m, on board a traditional photo camera, a real-time television camera (optionally replaceable to a thermal imaging camera). However, due to some difficulties with operation, the “Wing” did not gain much popularity. The unmanned vehicle of the “Wing” complex was created at the Kazan Design Bureau “Sokol” under the leadership of A.I. Osokin and U.A. Tsarev. The “Wing” variant of the complex was created with the placement of control and launch equipment for aircraft on the chassis of armored vehicles of the MT-LB type. The UAV successfully solved general reconnaissance tasks on the battlefield and near enemy lines. In 1987, the “Wing” complex was put into service, however, its significant disadvantages were the bulkiness of ground equipment and difficulties in organizing the necessary technical support and operation. In this regard, the use of the “Wing” complex was limited. Spoiler
