I did a post promoting your piece on the T124E3 on my site. Of course, I'm sure you already get exponentially more traffic than I do.

The Saxon is pretty crappy, but I have a hard time believing it can't overcome a little hill like that. Is the driver stepping on the gas?- 5,219 replies

Not much to say about it, they only made a 100 or so and it was pretty quickly replaced by recoil-less rifles. I don't know how closely related it is to the 76mm guns found in US tanks and TDs. http://www.forgottenweapons.com/t124e2-76mm-anti-tank-gun/

I've never been hit on at a gay bar in my life, a fact I find a bit sad. Not that I want to pick up a dude, but geez, what am I, chopped liver? -

I think "The General" is still a funny film, as long as you are in the mood for something with no sound. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ncapCvkPgVw -
Didn't like MASH? Honestly, I'm surprised. Oh well, to each their own.

Let us all look back at the career of the late great Leonard Nimoy.

Tonight I was bored and googled "best TV shows ever." The top two lists that showed up were for the best 30 and best 50 TV shows ever. Neither list included M*A*S*H. To whoever wrote those lists, I say go fuck yourself. MASH was TV at its finest. I've been binge watching it now that it's on netflix.

To be honest, I have been spending very little time these days in the WoT forums.

Last week I spent an hour or so on the phone with Harry Yeide, author of several books on US Armor in WW2. For those interested in reading the interview, you can find it at the links posted below. Not sure if it really counts as a good film, but I have always enjoyed some Zardoz. Hell, this scene alone is more entertaining than most entire movies these days. -

This looks like an interesting book, too bad I can't read russian https://www.scribd.com/doc/93953513/Armor-Not-Osprey-Tornado-Soviet-Main-Battle-Tank-T-64 -
I bet there was not enough room in the T-34 to do a transverse mounted engine because of the interior hull space taken up by the Christie suspension.

http://bookzz.org/book/729351/bae133 Kampfpanzer. Die Entwicklungen Der Nachkriegszeit by Rolf HIlmes. I was only able to find PDF versions of the German edition. English language editions exist, but used copies are 55 dollars and up. Still, I might buy a copy. It looks like it has all sorts of wonderful stuff in it. Kinda like Technology of Tanks but shorter and with more diagrams.

At first I thought this thread was about shoulder launched anti-tank weapons.

May I also point out that the AK is the first assault rifle who's use has been declared the primary indicator of whether or not someone has "had a good day"
