  1. Obviously I could just get them with money stuff, but I see there's some cabins and engines like the aircraft engine or the "duster" cabin (baby lunitic cabin), yet not seeing them in the list of crafting stuff. Those come off of premium vehicles or something?
  2. I've got 3 rides at the moment, though my cannon one will likely see itself changed to something else sooner than later. My main ride places a lot like a light does in WoT (minus the scouting) and is the sort focused more on being effective than fun. Finally got the parts needed and made myself a cloaking turret spammer. It's great fun pooping out a bunch of turrets right behind a blob of enemies without them knowing you're coming. You might not get the most XP this way, but I feel like it can really turn the tide if you distract them all at the right time. I'd still like to grind some better parts out for it, but it's functional as is.
  3. I'm going to guess that's not the case here since we're talking a little less than a week between the prices. Upon further observation, I think my specific issue here is that it probably depends on what raid mission types are up. Sold x200 fuel for 9 shekels per stack a couple hours ago. I should have taken note of the missions then and which ones correlate with better prices.
  4. More Canada shenanigans, telling google to globally deindex search results for allegedly pirated stuff. https://www.cnet.com/google-amp/news/google-must-yank-search-results-globally-says-canada-court/
  5. Anyone know the reason I've seen the sale price for oil fluctuate so much? Last time I sold x100, I got 12 shekels from it. Past few days were I've been paying more attention, I'd only be getting 9 at best, usually closer to 8. Current selling price is 7.84.
  6. If I weren't stuck at work right now, I'd link the video of him dodging the question of whether he was actually meeting the ethics commissioner for like 20min or something silly. What really does it is his cheeky grin he has on half the time.
  7. My initial impressions were economy aside, the mechanics are better here than robocraft. Been a while since I touched robocraft (got tired of needing to rebuild everything with each rebalance), but I think crossout having specific shapes to structural pieces instead of a bunch of minecraft blocks is a good thing as well. In robocraft, your vehicle would end up in really weird shape after taking a bit of damage. Can't think of a good way to describe it, but in crossout, you've got the cabin to help keep some basic shape until your thing dies. Basically, I like how crossout handles vehicle damage more. The other stuff isn't too fresh in my mind, but still generally feels improved upon vs robocraft.
  8. The Mercs 2 LARPing has gone too far, group of ~1200 military types are trying to stage a coup/revolt in Venezuela, flew a helicopter over their supreme court thing and dropped a few grenades on it. As far as I'm aware, up until now, Maduro has been able to keep the military folks under control there. The guy leading it I guess is the Venezuelan equivalent of an FBI guy. His instagram too since it's got relevant stuff. Flag says article 350, part of their constitution on how the people have the right to rebel if the government becomes a bunch of assholes.
  9. Let's play a game of "Spot what has gone tragically wrong"
  10. MGs are a lot more viable when paired with the thing that boosts cooling rate by 100%. Instead of just dealing straight up damage, I like to pick specific bits off enemies when in a brawl or deal easy and annoying damage when at range. May as well send me an invite to the clan too. When I eventually grind out enough stuff, I'm interested in making a vehicle that uses the stealth thing and just dropping all sorts of turrets behind people. Didn't touch the game until now because I didn't realize it was out of closed beta. I've been aware of the game itself for quite some time, seemed like a concept I could enjoy.
  11. I apparently missed that California is trying to enact it's own travel ban, but towards fellow states that they accuse of being discriminatory towards LGBT people. To defeat the Hitler, you must become the Hitler. I feel like this also probably violates the constitution (Article 4, section 2, clause 1 specifically), but it's California so I'm not quite surprised. I've not bothered to look at the details, but it's funny regardless
  12. Redesigned my thing to better match how the game works and because I've got more good guns now. MGs are nice, but unless you've got a lot, you're not going to be able to get as much done as you'd like. @Bronezhilet Now you just need to stick some rocket boosters and an engine on it and you'll be set.
  13. You seem to be right. I made this elegant machine and compared how many bursts it would take to kill it at the same range against 3 different sorts of protections. First version of the vehicle was structual pieces on one side, nothing on the other. Both took four bursts to kill. I then went back and covered one side in bumbers, that took slightlly over 6 to kill. I think there's our answer on armoring cabins. Time to rebuild all my stuff then. (the structual piece on the bumber side was pulled from the other side), HP was always at 685)
  14. Too lazy to quote, but I think someone earlier said something about objects not being able to shield the cabin. I'm pretty sure that's not the case and have made my vehicle with this in mind. My understanding is yellow is cabin damage, white is damage to various bits like fenders and guns. The structual HP or whatever the exact term listed in the stats for each item is how much damage they can take before breaking I'd assume, so that plow with ~100hp does a good job of acting as frontal armor. I also recently got that airplane cabin, and while on paper it's a straight up improvement over the pickup truck one I use, you can't really place any items directly on it. If you stick a gun on the cabin itself, you have to shoot the gun to knock it out, not just by breaking whatever holds it on.
  15. I should have time to sit down and play this some this weekend. IGN is the same as here, just now hit level 10
  16. Something that already really is getting on my nerves is how a defeat means you get basically no rewards from that battle at all, both in terms of exp and the other goodies. Grinding out fuel and copper is also very obnoxious, as well as the currency to get the crafting slots. I guess they decided that the grind in WT was a good thing that was worth carrying over to other games.
  17. Reposting it here since it was in that WoT thread, but for those who have experience with this game, how should I deal with guys running drones? It at least feels to me like those things just tear you apart.
  18. I don't see them trying to claim that needing a license to legally drive a car is racist, so why is it now racist when it comes to voting instead of driving cars? Really does get the ol' noggin joggin.
  19. Do those drone things respawn ever if you kill them? Those things are really annoying and seem to kill me a lot faster than actual vehicles do.
  20. Yeah, F2P sort of deal like WoT and WT. I started it Monday night, seems like it's got potential. Robocraft was pretty similar, but this game seems a lot better on a mechanical level. Grind though, can't comment on it yet.
  21. Sounds to me like it's a SEA server only deal. China doesn't get their Chinese cartoon tanks, poor saps. Also, Crossout, the make your own mad max truck game thing by Gaijin is apparently out of CBT.
  22. Meanwhile, in the land of the free...
  23. I've not touched WT tanks much lately, but if you're all enjoying BR 1.3 clubbing, I'd recommend giving the NbFz a shot. While the T-35 relies on brute force, the NbFz has a more fluid feel to it. The guns are easier to aim, is much more mobile, gets arty, and is easier to use cover with. T-35 still has multiturrets instead of linked guns (can be good or bad), more crew, and more armor. lol at the Independent with -4° depression or the Ro-Go with its general badness for a low tier land battleship
  24. Canada yes! Bill C-16 passed Canada's senate 67 to 11, so now very soon you must respect my pronouns (meme, maymay, memeself) or you shall go to jail and be sent to reeducation camp for misgendering me. Government mandated opinions are oh so very progessive! Other link
