Reminds me of when the Peshmerga ran away from Sinjar.
Also, is Kirkuk even a Kurdish city? I thought it was outside Iraqi Kurdistan.
It has a sizable Kurdish population, but its majority Arab with a large Turkmen pop too. Peshmerga forces "took" it in the chaos in 2014 and effectively governed it and some other "disputed" territory outside official Iraqi Kurdistan. The Kurdish referendum was held in these disputed regions and probably worsened the violence.

Turkey's also cooperating openly with HTS(al-Qaeda) in Idlib right now while threatening regional war with the Kurds. Fuck them.

The left can be as insane as it wants to be now when it comes to proposing policy as they have no political power. They know it is politically impossible, but it is good for their own base.

This is the other thing I don't understand about the debate. Adams talks about the cost of fighting climate change. What is the downside again? Fossil fuels are non-renewable, they are not going to last forever. Developing renewable sources of energy not only helps with the carbon issue, it's going to have to happen eventually anyway as fossil fuels become scarce. Might as well get out ahead of the curve on this.
Supporting Saudi Arabia and Exxon Mobil for eternity is good

The political "solutions" to climate change smell. The political opposition to climate change also smells.
Adams is right to criticize those who tie 2 hurricanes to climate change, but that's political theatre and not what climatologists are saying.

6.3 mag quake vs. 5.3 quake in their last test. That's big *if other variables stayed about the same

I doubt the numbers for Delaware, but not Rhode Island. Believe pretty much the rest, though.
Would have guessed Hawaii's % would have been a tad lower, but I don't know much about Hawaii.

I just saw this poster. Why is she tossing around T-28s? Did the Soviets time travel back to WWI? Is she the secret behind the Finnish defense during the Winter War? Did Wonder Woman align with the Nazis?

Saw that earlier today and it really caught my attention, you really don't see assassinations anymore in Europe
