100% true:

I feel like Dark Souls should have chopped off some of the less interesting areas of the latter third or so of the game, but that's just me. I preferred when it was taking place in areas that were part of, or provided context to, the dead civilization, and places like Great Hollow just felt like padding to me. That's just my opinion though, as I enjoyed the game most when it felt like a medeival combat sim, and fighting beasts felt more like you were testing the limits of the collision detection.

As someone who has worked in animal welfare, this should be on a plaque hanging up across from every single person who could possibly affect the policy of animal husbandry.

I hypothesize that hippies are aware that the policies they agitate for will cause massive destruction and suffering, and they continue to so agitate because they hate nature, they hate the environment, they hate humanity, and they hate all that is good, beautiful and true.  Obviously, they claim otherwise, but this is because they cannot but lie.  To lie is to reaffirm their foul, pitch-stained faith, which is allegiance to Angra Mainyu the father of lies and darkness.  To deceive, to cut life short and to snuff out beauty are their sacraments.  The light, the truth and all that is pure and wholesome (e.g. police batons and gamma rays), that is what they fear.

It occurred to me, while reading LoooSeR's account of how a bunch of peasants are clobbering the expensive Saudi military, that perhaps it was time to take a good, hard look at the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  What a vibrant and wonderful country!

From what I remember from tetrapod zoology, it is entirely possible to have a hella slow metabolism and be in danger of overheating once you get large enough. At that point, feathers become useful as a way of insulating yourself from external heat sources which would make the problem worse.
