Morana SPGH from Excalibur Army has its web out now.
https://morana.excaliburarmy.cz/
Some info:
- gun module can be placed on various platforms
- 155 mm L52 gun (AFAIK same with Zuzana 2)
- range 41,5 km
- gun traverse +/-60°
- fully automated (all crew sits in the front cabin during the mission) with APU for the gun module
- crew of 3 (driver, commander and gunner), the cabin has 4th seat for potential additional crew member/specialist
- 6 RPM, MRSI possible
- manual aiming possible if needed/in emergency
- direct fire possible with claimed effective range 5 km in daylight and 3 km at night
- time to first shot from stopping 40 seconds
- 45 rounds carried
- integrated retractable RCWS with 12,7 mm HMG for self defence (should be part of the turret)
- the Tatra vehicle is 8x8 with all four axles steerable (!), 600 Hp, automatic gearbox, 90 km/h, tyre pressure regulation
- STANAG level 2 protection
The vehicle is a demonstrator at this moment and will probably change in some ways before entering production.

I was just about to post that tweet. 20MJ at the muzzle, I wonder what this means. That's quite a bit more than was stated earlier. Are they including the sabot energy? 140mm straightwall does make some more sense if they are developing an NLOS round for it.

Hmmm, the structures on the inside of the wedge are interesting: the bracing would suggest a physically heavy plate, or a lot of force is/can be applied to that area.
Also, I’m curious what could be on that Merkava’s fender that would warrant a censoring.

Gear Craft working on thermal camo suit.
NPO Zenit last year showed their thermal and radar-masking material (Zenit-1). Lighter version were supposed to be used in camo suits with upper body wear and pants.
"Zenit-1" AFAIK name of that material
Zenit 2 or 3 (example of test piece)
Material helps to scatter ~70% of thermal emmision, which as company representative said is enough, as more will create a "black blob" effect, which will draw attention. Material works as wearable cloth and works even with long contact with human body under physical stress.

Lord_James reacted to Wiedzmin in The Leopard 2 Thread
The experience of the tests of the Leopard in Arabia showed the need to check and clean the filters 7 of the 12 days of practice in the desert, at the rate of a check every 168 km [4]. To carry out optimal maintenance of the intake system, the cyclone filters and the paper filter cartridges must be disassembled and cleaned with compressed air at less than 5 bar from the inside out. If there is even the slightest damage to the filters, they must be replaced [12]. In addition, the filter covers and the casing must be checked and cleaned (see Annex B).
-The normal operating temperature of the motor must not exceed 100ºC; The Leopard's integrated security system indicates with an alarm on the driver's panel that the temperature is exceeding 110ºC and prevents the MBT from operating if the temperature is not reduced immediately [12].
- The engine intake system is not sufficiently protected against the high concentration of particles (sand and dust), so it could accumulate in the chamber in which it is located, damaging the systems (sand is very abrasive), occluding the ducts and clogging filters. During tests carried out in Saudi Arabia in 2011, the following problems were detected, which could not be resolved on the ground:
- With the MBT operating at more than 40 km/h, the temperature of the motor rose to 110ºC, preventing the security system from continuing its operation. Because of this, every 5 km at this speed, it was necessary to stop for 15 minutes to cool down the engine [4].
