    I first thought the image was taken somewhere in the Mediterranean theatre, but then realized it could also (more likely) be California. I assume the M4A2 could be found in use for training in the states, yes?

    I want to say that's CGI, and if it is, I don't see why they didn't just model it right all the way with how detailed and relatively accurate the rest of it is.

    I don't believe T-80UDs are in service because all the stuff for diesel engines is in Ukraine, but the T-80U (and subvariants) and apparently the T-80BV are still around, with some BVs being upgraded to BVMs with new FCS, ERA, and other miscellaneous things. Loooser would know more.

    We had wondered this before and came to the conclusion that it was likely a derelict from one of the past conflicts on the Israeli-Syrian border in Deraa (acquired after the fighting there.) The Russians just took it and a whole bunch of other vehicles back for their display.

    The Sherman is the heroic Texas Detroit ranger with his trusty Native American Slav companion T-34. The Panther is the evil rich land baron (no oil fields though), who terrorizes the plains with his notorious Panzer posse.

    As much as some people enjoy them as meme units, I still hold rocket artillery vehicles for ground forces to be a dumb and unbefitting addition to the game. The Katyusha and Panzerwerfer stand out in particular.

    I got into air RB for a little by playing lower tier American planes (BR 3.0-3.3) and the Ki-61 Otsu. I like having to think more about how I'm flying and the xp bonus helps with grinding, especially when you have a talisman here and there. However, it feels like I only manage to kill stuff in 1 out of every 5 battles or so. The other 4 are split between getting shot down without being able to do anything (usually by one or more BF109 that climbed faster) or climbing up only to miss the fighting taking place 8km out and 3.5km below. The battles can feel a lot more rewarding, but it really doesn't happen enough to be really worthwhile. I agree that air AB's sweetspot is 3.0-4.0.

    I'm assuming it's just for the event given that there's a hashtag in the name.

    I point out the cupola because it's the T-80UD type with the MG mounted to it and the sighting device jutting out of the left. Given that T-80UDs don't have the air filter, I thought it was T-80UE-1, unless I'm mistaken.
