Let's Talk Dark Souls
Scolopax replied to Oedipus Wreckx-n-Effect's topic in Fiction & Entertainment
@Oedipus Wreckx-n-Effect Dark Souls 3 Original Plot An overview of what DS3's story played like early on before release. It's not entirely official, but there's some interesting details and L O R E implications. Also kind of seems like the game was another (relatively) rushed job by From like DS1. -
The M548 is not enough. You need all the M113-based cargo carriers.

Ukrainian armor - Oplot-M, T-64M Bulat and other.

They seem to me to just be old T-64A's that have their main guns removed and mine rollers added. The vehicles on the right side of the image appear to be BREM-1s. -
The Soviet Tank Thread: Transversely Mounted 1000hp Engines
Scolopax replied to T___A's topic in Mechanized Warfare
Sounds like an opportunity for someone to design yet another unmanned turret with a 30mm cannon and ATGMs! Maybe add a grenade launcher too for good measure. Are there any plans to put Ataka on the BMP-2, or is Kornet good enough?- 5,214 replies

United States Military Vehicle General: Guns, G*vins, and Gas Turbines
Scolopax replied to Tied's topic in Mechanized Warfare
A pic of it appeared on the WoT forums a while ago and we could never figure out what it was. Nice to know now. Are there any historical pictures of the M60-2000? All image search results I get for it bring up the M60-120s. -
So why did they go with the Mi-35M designation when the Mi-35 was an export version of the Mi-24V?

I believe it is just a domesticated version of the AK-167, and that there was a video posted recently in the naval subsection of a stationary test gun firing. I am not certain though. -

You would have to do some serious redesigning of the hull to accommodate the commander and gunner down with the driver, and I'm not sure if there would be an acceptable amount of room. There was some Ukrainian concept (conveniently appearing after the T-14 had been unveiled for a little while) doing basically what you said but with a T-64. The designers seemed to believe the they could stick everyone in the hull fine, but I'm doubtful it would have worked out. The thing didn't go past that sole demonstration render so far as I know.

Deceive the Credulous; Become Fabulously Wealthy

I chose to watch a Pewdiepie video and it actually didn't seem that bad tl:dr Lots of Youtubers and other random internet people are promoting/shilling an online therapy service that might not actually be therapy (at all) and could quite possibly be a scam.
